Washiki-Takamoto... My Black Asian love interest. 03 TRD. Kept her as is, upgraded shocks larger tires, leveled her out, no lift kit or fancy stuff visually, cold intake... miss her. got screwed on the trade in for her big sister (2017 Tundra 4x4 limited) should have kept her... now im a sad panda. Hang on to your old Tacos!!
Proud owner of a 2003 Prerunner 2WD 2.7L here with 227K Miles on the OD. The only thing I wish I could upgrade is to 4WD! Don't know anyone around me who can do it professionally.
@@doomeduser9326 i’ve heard stories from Toyota mechanics that around the 350k mile mark it’s not uncommon that they may need head gasket replacement. But then after that they run for another 300k
Very nice setup. I'm probably gonna do the same to mine, only I got a 4wd model. Just curious, besides the labor cost, how much did that suspension set you back?
I have the same setup the back tires are completely fine for me in the front however I did have to do some trimming. Plastics inside the wheel well and metal sticking out did rub had to grind the metal out and cut off some plastics.
What number is on the OME coils? What setting are the front shocks set to? And do you have OME coils on the rear? Awesome set up! I’d love to have my truck look like this
I have the same Tacoma with bilstein 5100 and want to put 285 /75 / 16 bf good rich all terrains but everyone says they will rub? They’ve told me you need to do some sort of chop on the frame to not rub on a complete turn?
@@ns671fr would you recommend still having a 1 inch block and U bolt going to get this setup soon if it'll work thanks hopefully you could help me out brother
@@ns671fr yeah I'm planning to do 2" so if I'm correct your saying the 2-1 is 2" front and 1" back but in this video they only let the coils do the lifting in the front with the bilstein shock at its lowest setting right? And thanks again I really I appreciate you helping me out.
Alex Xiong I can see the replies to your comment but it seems like the info I’m looking for...would you mind telling me what they’ve done as far as front and rear to this truck? Looking to do something similar to mine. Thank you.
