My friend you are a life saver, I been getting crazy checking everything and after seeing your video I got a 5 gallon bottle and get gas and that was the problem, after replacing the alternator And almost getting a new starter that was the problem, the gages for the gas was marking half of tank and the thank was empty 😂😂😂
And fyi, the titan has an internal fuel pump relay that can only be tested by a meter connected to the yellow and black wire with key on. Blue and white are ignition, and is constant 12 volts. If you get 12 volts from black and yellow wire with the key on then it is good. Anything else and you have to replace the whole ecm .
Another thing to do if it has issues with starting, replace the key. The chip inside gets damaged if you drop it too often. If the plastic key breaks, that's a sure sign of damage. A locksmith through AAAnshould charge $120 for one key or $180 for two. If you've tried the fusible links, the ground wire, and the filter/pump and it still isn't starting GET A NEW KEY
Mine was the fuel level sensor (floater sensor) the fuel pump was ok just the sensor went bad and so the gas tank needle read at half a tank although it was empty...the reason i "broke down" on the hwy. The pump and sensor are only sold as a whole assembly so instead of guessing how much gas i had i changed the whole assembly 180 bucks and 3hrs of labor wasnt too hard
Don't feel bad. Mine did the same thing. I had mine towed to mechanic and the next day he added some gas and it fired right up. I couldn't believe it. My gas gauge was showing over a quarter of a tank.
Hi guys. Hopefully someone else who has this issue will see that this is a common issue and it can help them. I too had the same thing happen. I have an 05 Armada. Fuel guage read a little over 1/4 tank. When I went to replace the fuel pump, the tank was dry as a pop corn fart 😁👍
What's the relay with the w cuz I'm having an issue to where mine is not starting either but I get the crank I hear the fuel pump but I don't know why mines are not coming on could it be pressure
