@@whoasked1720honestly just replace it, serpentine as well as your timing belt should be changed every 100k miles at the most, if you’re not sure when they were last replaced just take care of it before one of them snap, also cheers 🍻 I love my 06 2.5i lol

It’s adjustable to any RPM to let you know when to shift, I was breaking my motor in so I was trying to keep it calm at the time

I purchased the car built, it blew up 9 months later, and now it’s freshly rebuilt with as much love as possible

It’s built, if it blows it blows 🤷‍♂️

i started with a base model impreza , felt scared about the turbo on these cars, main thing is, chec your maintenance and dont drive it hard ,very hard, be nice with it you can still have fun , then when i passed my first subaru engine rebuild(was just for a gasket but decide to rebuild everything since it was kinda cheap(remember its still an impreza) sold the impreza at in the summer this year, bought a 2019 toyota 86, got hit by a drunk driver,car was totaled last week, im getting a 05 sti next week going in with confidence and love for those boxer engines, learned a lot about them, planned my stuff and now i feel ready. so basically get a nice little impreza dont know if where youre from theres snow but watch for the rust if you do, and always check youtube videos on what to check on the model youre getting! enjoy bro

also, most important thing, 4-5k oil changes, very important for these cars, always let it warm up before going on a ride, even in the summer !

It is a bit loud .. this was just open down pipe with no catback on at the time, that’s why it rattles/vibrates inside the car at times
