A supercell thunderstorm developed in north central Nebraska and dumped copious amounts of rain as it moved across the Nebraska landscape. Large hail and damaging winds accompanied this group of storms. Video highlights the intensity of the winds that were well over 60mph and the large hail that had residents seeking shelter under gas station awnings that were whipped by the wind. Trees were pummeled and swayed violently as the wind driven hail dropped across the town.
