Sunday June 09 we have ghost shrimp so we decided to go Point Pinole and try out for striper on the in coming tide.So far it’s not good at all! Only stingrays is hitting back to back 🥵
It was a nice day to say the least, spring has strong tidal changes in the bay area, they will be back, if you are fishing salt in spring, pay attention to the moon phases and tides if you are bank fishing, it will determine where you fish. Those stripers should be coming down from the Sac river after their post spawn feeding, perhaps they are staying in there a little longer, that means there could possibly be more predators in the bay. Need a nice strong spring tide to suck them out.
Thanks so sharing 🙏 I saw lots of fishermen catching big strippers at the Dalta River, but we just don’t like to go out around the inland area and cause of the weather is too hot 🥵 next month the strippers will come back to the Bay.
