So basically she sounded exactly the same and even more resonant in the undubbed version but the dubbed version was edited to help Boyz II Men (eg. 2:35)
This shows the amount of force Mariah execute every time she sings in 90s. She always make things as perfect and effortlessly as much as she can. Beyond the fans want.
Haha. This is like the VOL performance where Mariah is so apologetic because she had to repeat the same performance to be able to get the perfect thing for the DVD :))
Although the official release DVD is roughly an hour long concert. It actually took over 3 hours to get everything required, from additional takes, redubs and second performances. Most of the voice you hear on the DVD/Video isn't actually what was sung live. It was cleaned up for release. There's a few videos of what she actually sounded like that night, and honestly it sounds better then the cleaned up version
it's okay. those belts before and after those 2 f#5'S WERE amazingly done. some alleged singers couldn't even hit a simple D5 without straining and struggling. while mariah just do it while sleeping. LMAO
