Excellent results using basic materials. I like how your ocean surface is affected by the passing of the vessel, rather than being random, confused water texture. Bravo on your first job!
@@littlesailor My pleasure.... I am building a harbor scene in HO 1/87 scale. I will be trying Mod Podge for the first time today. I have never used it before. The Gloss Medium I used shows too many brush strokes so hoping the Mod Podge small ripples will hide the brush strokes. Philip
Awesome video, thank you so much! I did an ocean dio the past few weeks and I was so disappointed I wanted to bin the entire project, after seeing your video I have new hopes! Thanks again, will definitely give it a go, yours look incredible 👏🏼
I will shortly be building my first ship model and have been researching modelling tips and techniques and been trying to find a good method of doing the seascape so I was delighted to come across your video. This is one of the best I have seen and I especially love the way you have used picture frames, that never occured to me, what a great idea! Thank you for posting this....(.btw the background music seemed unneccessary to me and made your commentary a bit difficult to hear.)
Yeah I know 🙂 sound and light in this video are not of the highest quality ... it was my beginnings with video editing so I hope it's forgivable :) I'm trying to do it better now🙂 Thanks for very nice comment! 🙏Good luck with your model and diorama! Cheers!😀
Klasa diorama!
Love it. I’ve never built this scale. But. Am running out of room. Can you advise on ships. And we’re to buy could you do one on building ship and painting. Well done thank you. Jim
Hi, I used tamya clear blu with Tamiya X-20A, but it stripped off the layers of Tamya sea blue that i have used before (I also use Tamia fine surface primer). Do you know the reason? How many hours I have to wait before to use clear color or Tamya x22 with brush (I waithed 5 hours)? Thank you
Totally right :) the overall quality of the music and lights could have been better👍 It was one of my first YT video so sorry for that 🙏 Thanks for Your comment. Cheers!
Are you sure that's a 1/700 kit ? it's so small it looks more like a 1/1200 or even 1/2000 kit, nice end result though and makes a nice little tabletop diorama.
My friend very nice tutorial but big wrong the lights. I can not watch it all cause the brightness kills my eyes. Use dark background and not a white one.
