I was thinking same thing I got a couple none running rev chassis and I got a 02 edge x 800 that fucking rips and I wanna throw it in something more capable 😏

That would be a pretty easy swap. You just have to make sure you get the clutches lined up right. The exhaust would be easy, just use the rev pipe and the rev airbox might even work without mods. You could always put in a 700 Polaris twin later if the 800 goes out, same bottom end as the 800 but more reliable. The 2002 700 Polaris engine was the most powerful, it will give 800 twins a run for their money.

I see the 98 gauges at the end of the video… the newer vmax had nicer gauges

Well, I still use the stock Rev 440 engine plate with 4 rubber mounts.. So no more viberation than the 800HO.

It was a Yamaha triple 700

First triple swapped rev i did is still on the same belt. Worth mention, it got vented panels, polaris P85 primary and team secondary.

Why? Looks like he had a blown sled sitting in the back 40 and brought it back to life!
