Thank you so much for all your effort to create all these extremely helpful via ferrata tutorials! I come back and watch some of them several times to make sure I do everything correctly. I am very very grateful.

I noticed that a lot of people forget to bring enough food and drink when they do a ferrata maybe that's a point of interest. I've been in ferratas that take the better part of a day

You are correct. I will make sure a latter episode will bring this into discussion as well.

It makes a difference if the route is horizontal or vertical as traverses are usually easier, plus you should take into consideration how long the route is and whether it has any rest points

Well, if there is no comfortable resting zone on the route you can always sit in your harness (the anchor will do waters on holding you steady). It is why one should have a resting system idealy a lanyard connected to the belay loop no longer than the arm length. Yes, traverses (horizontal segments) are easier no matter how hard they are because you can use the resting system and pull yourself to advance. On the vertical is hard, dangerous, a nightmare. Definitely knowing the overall length and estimated effort required will help a lot.

Level F is a new addition. We currently have three or four Level F Via Ferrata in the entire world. Something like this. I never compiled a checklist of them. But, they do exist and I should've added it to the chart. I recorded that almost two years ago. A bit hard to recall what was in my head and why I excluded the F. Maybe only an honest mistake.
