Those surprise long naps can be so annoying haha. And I totally agree about the free tickets. My wife and I often to go to events that we aren't interested just because her company gives free tickets. Thanks for sharing and don't feel bad for taking a day off from posting. We all need breaks :)

As a French person living in Paris, I can tell you that many of us were frustrated because public transport and trafic have been badly impacted by the Olympics. Well, things seem to be more stable now, so it's okay I guess. As for the ceremony, I'd say it was received with a mixed opinion. Some were confused on certain performances, but the finale left everyone with a positive feeling. You're doing great with your English btw 👍

Thank you for letting me know the actual situation there. I can imagine you are impacted by the Olympics. It brings not only a good economic impact.. Also, yes, I know there are always mixed reviews about each concept of the Olympics. Paris is still beautiful💞

You did a great job. I wrote a few corrections to hopefully help you a little bit. I'm a native English speaker, but I'm not perfect so I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong about anything. I'm also from Australia, so I typically use British English, not American English. It's mostly the same with a few differences. Don't take this feedback to heart, I genuinely would love to help you learn. I've tried learning Japanese many times, and it's quite difficult when you don't have someone to talk to. I applaud your efforts to make videos trying to improve your English speaking ability, it's admirable. I will genuinely offer my time to you if you ever need any help, feel free to reach out. Good luck on your journey, I'm rooting for you. 0:13 - It's fine to say it like this but if you want to remove confusion because saying, "to make up for yesterday's video", implies there was something wrong with yesterday's video and you're trying to rectify (fix) it. You can add more context with a few additions: "..to make up for missing yesterday's video" or "to make up for not uploading a video yesterday" or, “to make up for not having a video yesterday”. You actually clarify that statement at 0:20 with, "I'm sorry for not uploading my video yesterday". For the sake of completeness I included it anyway. 0:29 - "I couldn't record my English", would sound more correct to say, "I couldn't record a video practicing English" or, "I couldn't record my English practice", or "I couldn't record myself practicing English" or, “I couldn’t record my English practice session”. There's many ways to say the same thing and add more context. 0:40 - "I tried to take a real(ly)? break". I think you said 'real' or 'really' here, and you could say real break, though really would be incorrect. You can simply say, "I tried to take a break", or "I tried to take a short break", or “I tried to take a real break, but I ended up falling asleep.” For a more complete sentence, "I laid in my bed and took a short break, but I fell asleep and woke up later than I meant to." There are many ways to say the same thing and get your point across, and that's the fun of learning! 1:08 - "I was knowing that.." Since you're talking about the past, you should say, "I knew". 1:15 - You don't typically say, "I believed myself", in this context. You can say, "I believed". Myself is already implied because of the use of I. 2:36 - "I'm very sucker for the word free". It would be more accurate to say, "I'm a sucker for free stuff" or "I'm a sucker for free giveaways" or "I'm a sucker when I hear the word, 'free'". Something to note, though: the word ‘sucker’ can have negative connotations. Meaning, in some contexts saying you're a sucker can imply you're gullible and easy to trick. In the context of receiving free stuff, it simply means you have a weakness for freebies. You can also say, “I’m a big fan of anything free” or freebies or free stuff. 3:02 - "Yeah, so I applied it." In this context you should say, "Yeah, so I applied for it.", or “Yeah, so I applied for them.” You would say, "I applied it", in the context of using lotion or saying you applied a certain skill to a particular activity, but not in the context of applying for free tickets. 4:13 - Instead of saying, "The honest impression" which implies there's an impression that everyone is privy to, you should say "My honest impression", or “My honest opinion is”. 7:47 - "The sports that I'm looking forward to watching is..", because you're listing more than one and you use the plural 'sports', you should say, "The sports that I'm looking forward to watching are..". You will typically use "is" for singular nouns, and "are" with plural nouns. 8:15 - "Olympic last for.." should be "The Olympics lasts for..", or “The Olympic Games last for..” Since the Olympics is a collection of sporting events, we use the plural form with an 's'. You could refer to it as, "The Olympic Games", since there's only one Olympic games you could be referring to. As for the Olympics, I don't watch it anymore. I used to love watching the Gymnastics, Swimming, and Tennis events when I was younger though. That was when I was a teenager, I'm 32 now and don't find it all that interesting. I'm sure if I tried to watch it again I might get back into it, but I'd rather spend my time doing other things. These days I'm learning to code, so that takes up most of my free time after work. It's nice to meet you, anyway, I hope what I wrote was helpful and doesn't discourage you. You're honestly doing very well. You'll only get better and better with practice, as you know.

Ahhh the 2 min...4 hour nap. Been there, done that. hehe.. You clearly needed the rest! The Tokyo Olympics were done beautifully! I don't really like the Paris Olympics because it feels political and not like a sporting event. My favorite events are of course the equestrian events. ( 馬 ) (◕‿◕) Great work on your English study and this video!
