Could you survive a real life ground attack?? We are starting a new phase of training.....Ground!! Our goal is the take our standup taijustu and show students how they can adjust that to a ground fight. Later on in the phase we'll look at the Kihon and how you can do those specific techniques on the ground. Ground fighting for you life is way different than sport ground fighting and the tips and tricks you'd see in sport ground fighting would not serve you well at all in a real fight. In the video, we are starting with the basics of how to escape from guard, mount, and side control in ways you might not see in sport fighting. Enjoy and see you on the mat!!
