Can I use this same awd xmission and use it in a 2009 ford flex 3.5 liter engine awd. if so what do I have to modify? thanks in advance.

I have this exact car and the transmission is messing up, how long did it take to remove and replace the transmission? Was it costly to do?

Is it possible to do this on a driveway to change the rear main seal?

Anything is possible. It will be less fun bit you could do it.

@@CarMechaNick Thanks, I am not an experienced mechanic like you but have been working on my own cars for ten years. The most complicated part I’ve replaced was a rack and pinion and spark plugs on a V6.

That's awesome! It can be fun to work on cars. I won't lie this would be a serious job to take on. Esp AWD model. You could do it just take your time!
