I agree! And they are so rare! I only had 2 (two) of these Porcelain White Super 8 cars in 11 years of selling Jaguars.

They suck on gas but there worth it

I have gotten mid 20s MPG gently highway driving. Having a lead foot will take you to low 20s.

Hi Jeffrey, Good observation! Starting with the 2008 year model, Jaguar wanted to increase profits by way of reducing costs unfortunately. As a result, they made the 6 CD changer in the trunk, optional. Also, they replaced the full size spare with a "donut" or temporary spare wheel.

You are asking for Radiance or British Racing Green. Although I had a few Radiance Super 8 cars, the latter is the most rare. By the way, leather comes standard on the Super 8, as well as every other possible option.

Valentin Cristea Thank You for the information and response. These particular models really are appealing to me as of late. The general conceives says that , ya they like all automobiles do have problems from time to time but for the most part are above average for reliability ( as far as European cars are concerned ) especially when compared to my original choice “ BMW 740 In the midd 1990’s , told they are some major pains to work on and money pits as well. These are every bit as nice , if not better. I like the more narrow profile , and prefer the front end style more than the 740. ( they both are remind of a predatory fish or bird) I want something that will eat up highway miles without beating me up . The new cars are terrible riding , they all have sport style suspension that I will never need . This is the ticket I believe for me anyway. These models where made for about 10 years although I hear the Val-den Plaus? ( spelling???) has a American style suspension that will hold up to our terrible roads better than the other models. I don’t want one to appear rich or get looks from the ladies. No , I want a nice car for my widowed mother as well as me. Father left us 10 years ago , she started dating him when she was 14 . Married 3 days after she turned 16 with one in the oven . 8 children 37 years, true partner and mates for life. Oh some men have inquired “ My husband was a real man , I. Never had one before and Don’t want no other now. Idc if he is dead in the ground He’s still my man . So don’t bother trying, you or none other could fill his shoes . The only thing he asked me in my life was “ Son when I move up to Glory will you help your mother and make sure she has and isn’t lonely? I would stay for her if I could but my heart is given out and I want to try to get it fixed, I really don’t believe it will work but I want to try .” I told him no matter what as long as I’m living I consider it my Honor If it’s required. He took a breath of ( relief/ contentment ??) whatever it was it was the best most loving silent thank you I ever received. She is almost to 70 now and still likes to drive and does for herself ( for the most part ) I just don’t trust the plastic and Pop metel soda can style cars to be sturdy enough for her if ever in a accident. This car looks to be quality built . She needs something nice to drive to church and the grocery store in. I’m looking them over at lots and on the net , soon she will be riding in style. Another excellent addition is these are very easy to do a GM LS swap in with a wiring harness and motor mounts readily available. Even the transmission mounts up and the drive shaft is still usable as well. So I would love to find one with a blown engine in great shape on the cheap . Buy a low mile engine from the tow yard and have it swapped out. With transmission. Jaguars of this make are very dependable, but a few odd years had engine problems. One of those would be awesome to find on the cheap. Her Oldsmobile has blown something and is burning water now . I think she will like it. Should be easy to park being slightly narrow. And. They all seem so quiet and smooth .

Porcelain White Super 8 Jaguars are extremely rare. in the 9 years I have been specializing in Jaguars, I have only found 2 of them and I have been looking for them throughout the country. It's a matter of preference. A lot of my clients prefer the older 04-07 body style, while others like the 08-09 XJ with the face lift. I personally like the XJ with the face lift...
