I always found it weird how the scoreboard's victory picture always showed the winner blowing up the blue bomber. Unless the winner was the blue bomber, in which case it was a horribly-recolored purple bomber, if I recall correctly.

Me and the boys on "Netcafe" back in 2002 playing half life & counter strike - But then we hit this god damn legend, We would spend hours in the night laughing our guts out as we bombed each other in that damn game - Just to get back to the most fucking epic LOBBY THEME ever. Let me just say we were all dancing, specially the winner xD

Think they kept the guy BLUE in the brackground, so the lost player would not be too upset it was him. (unless he is blue!)

+digimaks Could've easily been something else entirely! Or a palette-based recolor like the in-game sprites partially were randomly picking the background dude.
