Just one of those impulsive nights that I just happened to have the gopro :) Next vid (2-3 weeks) will be during the day so you can see stuff including the boost gauge.
Thanks, i'll just say its definitely been an investment! I have been riding street bikes for 7 years. The purpose of an extended swing arm is to push the rear tire further back allowing for much harder acceleration before the front wheel comes up. For example when the wheel base was stock (with long gearing) I would wheelie all the way through fourth gear. Now with the extension, the only gear it comes up on me is 1st. I got a Penske shock and extended tail recently to fix that though
I love how fast the speedo moves lol....hard to explain what it feels like when your bike accelerates like a monster all the way until you run out of gear and never lets you out of the seat. I love having tons and tons of power on tap....freaking awesome!
Beautiful bike and awesome video. I like to see the speedometer needle sweep the face like most everyone's tachometer needle. This thing makes the jump to hyper SPACE. Lol
@540Pariah 6" Mcintosh swing arm. In this vid I have a stock shock. I now have a Penske shock & MTC Lockup clutch to help put the additional power to the ground.
GOD DAMN THAT SHIT IS FAST. Nice looking bike man, and with the suspension set up the way you have it, there is basically no lift of the front end, very impressive.
As with anything the more money you have the faster you go, nice ride and mods, i want my speedo to run like a stop watch like yours. have fun be safe.
@Deespeed99 This was w/the 267hp. I just recently (within the week) got the bike back with 403hp. I am 6" over, I like the length, very stable at higher speeds, I don't think I will ever go any longer though. The 19t front is great for roll ons, unless you are taking off from 30mph you can always find boost.
nice mate :) we had a Turbo Hayabusa come into work for an MOT it looked an sounded soo nice they guy had some balls riding that! fair play id loved to see some vids in the daylight
@sirbuick Thanks man. No day vieos yet. I wanted to get a couple decent pulls before it got cold out (back tire will just spin otherwise.) Looks like I will need to waite for spring. Just got a Performance Box so I will measure 0-200mph.
@maigrichon I am using Motul 300V. Making 100 more hp now on pump (360hp) using a boost controller, and 403hp on C16. I plan on having a updated video soon.
great vid where is the 5252 guy with his built tripple triumph he has vids of his pro built triumph whoopping on a stock busa i want to see him race this busa
@dpranke41 Your right, actually it goes much faster in 5th. With 19/43 gearing 180 comes at roughly 9,300 rpms, and with low compression and increased rev limiter of 11,500rpms 5th gear will top out at 204ish mph and 6th will be at 222..20 When gearing was stock the speedo was off at 90mph by quite a bit, once I changed the front sprocket for a taller gear it pretty much made my speedo spot on. I tested it cruising at 120mph with my garmin zumo 550 and it was spot on.
Cause another guy already did that at the Maxton Mile, a guy named Charlie Anstaett hit 256.79 in a standing mile. Meaning from a dead stop to the 1 mile marker he got up to 256.79mph. His turbo busa puts out around 636bhp to 1 wheel. Check it out, its pretty crazy.
Which are rcc kit are you running I plan on ordering one shortly shooting for 230 rwhp then growing from there as I'm new to boasted bikes 50 hp gain should be nice tho:)
I know where you were riding from 1:20-2:20. You got on from I-475 NB to I-75 SB (MM 125)near Flint, MI and rode almost to Pierson Rd (exit 122). That's my old stomping ground.
Holy crap, that thing's insane! How long have you been riding? How much did that thing cost if you don't mind me asking .. like 20 grand? What's the swing arm extension for?
So how's the mileage? ;) Unbelievable how fast this thing accelerates. Without a turbo it already is fantastic. Seriously wonder how fast if would go if you changed the gearing to get a higher top-end.
At 4.06 there is a clear turbo dump (blow off) sound when he lets off, then another couple a few seconds later. You said you don't want to be an ass, so why even ask the question? Surely the acceleration speaks for itself!!! Anyway, not trying to pick a fight, peace and safe riding. Good vid btw.
