had so much trouble with this - even dropped my 10mm into the engine going for the sprocket ... that sleve is what stopped me i think - thanks for the info - it's been super helpful

Great video. Just about to have a go at replacing the o-ring in crank case as I started to have small weep of oil around there... Will try without removing the engine. Any idea how can I then prime the oil pump before assembling all back together? Thanks

You took the engine out? Or half of it in what it looks like? I'm getting charge 550 for just the labor.

That’s a good video thanks I have a question.i have 2012 r1. how can I know if the oil pump is damaged. what are the symptoms I have a damaged valve but I do not know which parts to replace from the oil pump supposedly the valve is damaged because the oil pump does not work well but I do not know what the symptoms of a damaged oil pump are?

Are these pumps interchangeable threw all models?? I’m trying to do the same for my 02 R1 can only find used pumps for 02 but plenty new ones for newer model bikes...the Pumps look identical but want to be 100% before I order the wrong pump
