Saturn Vue? Change the speed control sensor. Do you have an obd2 scanner? It will tell you which wheel sensor is bad. Easy to change. 20.00 I have a 2009 Saturn Vue and I have changed 3 of those. It will cure your problem.
Well on my 2008 v6 3.5l AWD it was the crank sensor, and it only got fixed with the gm OEM sensor for some reason the other 2 from 2 other brands didn't work and OEM was like $40+ dollars from dealer, those 2 lights came on when I was coming onto the highway and I floored the gas, lost power and the 2 lights came on, had to pull onto the side turn off the car and waited 5mins then turn it back on and the car acted normal again, this happened like 5-8 times and I got fed up and took it to the shop, they said it was the dirty throttle body so they clean it and said it was fix but when I got the vue back it did the exact same thing so I took it back, a week later and 3 crank sensors the car is fixed, i just payed for the throttle body cleaning exhaust gasket and sensor since they diagnosed it with the problem, the guy told me that to replace the sensor it was not to be charged cause they wanted to figure out what was the problem and wanted to have the answer next time someone else came with the same problem, I thought it was the speed sensor at 1st but I was wrong, my car had about 130k on it and it runs like a champ.
I did replace the brake pads because they were low and that fix the problem for a little while but then the lights came back. Had a friend scan it with his scanner and it says I need a new wheel speed sensor driver side front. I will update after I replace sensor.
Hi guys I have the same problem on the Saturn outlook but it comes on and my tires shake when I’m about 55-60mph. Can someone tell what’s up with this??
Mine is the same. I drive and once it gets to third this will turn on and cause a jolt in shifting and slow down and feel like a pull back. I know nothing about cars at all. Lol. I do have a tire light on. Someone told me it could be the tire sensor. 😢
I have the same Saturn 3.6.....i bought it like little over 3200 since had same problem had front end alignment did good for a min...best thing I did with advice is to get a smog test or main test
Yes took it to Autozone and had them test it on their wheel scanner and it showed that a speed sensor was bad (front drivers side). l replaced it and the lights never came back on. Been a month now and still good. FYI found all 4 wheel sensors on ebay for $20 free shipping. Only needed the one but l have the other 3 just in case.
Do you have the V6? If so how's the mpg? I'm looking at a real clean 08 any input is appreciated this is deff a speed sensor the hard parts finding which one than getting it out unless rust is not an issue for you
