Thanks for this video. I was looking for one on replacing spark plugs and boots on a 2009 Saturn Vue XR with a 3.6L, but could only find ones for the 3.6L Saturn Outlook. This looks much easier. With the Outlook. you had to remove the manifold from the top of the engine to access the plugs. Any tips for the removal of boots/plugs on the backside of the engine or are they accessible without having to disconnect and move stuff out of the way?
Is the PO 300 the only code that you have and I did not replace coils I only replace the coil boots, and spark plugs, spark plugs is a good place to start. If you don’t have a bad coil, there’s no point in replacing them. Hope you have a great day.
@@toddnjoyburk so take number for coil and move it to another cylinder and take the number four plug and move it to a different cylinder, then start the vehicle, if the misfire moved to the cylinder that you move the coil to replace that coil, if the misfire move to the cylinder that you moved the spark plug to then replace that spark plug. If the misfire stays on number four, then you either have a bad injector or internal engine damage or a wiring problem, if you have black lines on your spark plugs, or in your coil, boots replace your coil boots, if the misfire is gone all together then it was probably caused by carbon tracking and I would go ahead and do a tuneup by replacing the spark plugs and coil boots. Hope this helps.
