We hit 1,000,000 subscribers!! So RU-vid sent me my Gold Play Button! Of course I must DIY the most Outrageous display case for this 1M plaque in my 1 million subs special celebration. It took some woodworking, painting, flocking, machine cutting letters and more! Will I be able to finish on time and with enough quality to live up to this milestone?

The fact that you've been doing stuff like this for 10 years and you still cut everything with a hand saw and search for perfect pieces instead of planing validates my own amateurish woodworking 😅 However, I did get a cheap corded circular saw eventually and that was a game changer, would definitely recommend!

Great video Pali! We appreciate you, and if it helps with the stress at all, I think the other palis are here much more for you (funness, genuineness, creativity etc (at least as can be judged from this side of the screen)), and also for your process, and less for the exact timing or final results (which don't get me wrong, have also been amazing and appreciated).

I accidentally stumbled across one of your videos a while ago on FB, the one where you got banned from multiple places. No idea why FB offered me it and I was slightly confused but something about the persistent energy kept me watching even though I hadn't the foggiest idea about anything in the video. Happened a few more times till I got kind of hooked on the art videos but I kept forgetting to follow and was cursed to only watch as FB offered me said videos. Getting my ADHD brain to remember names is an impossible challenge and yet I think it recognised you as an ADHD avatar of creativity. Due to health complications, I can't action the creative ideas in my brain often, but watching your videos and the way you take the viewer with you on each challenge, highs and lows is brilliant. You are deserving of the rewards of your labour, even as you are clearly awesome without them.

As a maker I recommend you invest in some clamps and a carpenter square. Cheap and will make you a lot more productive. Way bigger cost benefit than a table saw or chop saw. You can do everything you need with a hand saw, just need the right tools to go with it.

Where i live we get alot of snow in winter and i make kennels for dogs and cats with cushions, too. I am sure it doesnt snow where you live, but it would be a nice place for them too hang

Cutting a straight line that long with a hand saw is not easy. Well done. Oh and wood glue will set up in just 30 min. Maybe useful next time you build some insane piece. (Edit: after fully watching til end, I think you know that already. Overnight dry is always optimal option)
