Thank you for letting us experience this road trip with you. As someone who is hoping to get a Tesla, possibly before the Cyber Truck is available, this video and your previous one help me understand ahead of time what is involved in long distance road trips. I also appreciate that you pushed the range between super chargers. That shows how comfortable you are with Your current Tesla and how you can squeeze out better range when needed. A truly wonderful video. Happy New Year to you and your girlfriend. Enjoy your time in Florida.
Ocala Florida Supercharger tip. After you get off I75 and head to the Superchargers you will pass by a new Circle K and a new WaWa. Stop there first and use the restroom and gets some snacks. Then continue to the Superchargers.
Thanks for vlogging your trip. I get it. Stay away from Savannah! On our coast we stay away from the San Luis Obispo SC on the holidays. The lines are s nightmare. Many Happy EV miles to you and your S!
That would explain a lot. Thought it might just be my car but it does charge noticeably slower than when i got my car in early 2018. Probably to help with the life of the older battery packs.
1 main reason why your car is tapering so quickly is because you have 100k miles on your car. My model 3 would just start to taper below 100 kw after 50% but now I have 30k miles it drops below 100k at around 40%.. I know it sucks.
I think it may have been around 22 hours with all the stops (it’s a 15 hour drive or so non-stop). It’s probably at least 3-4 hours faster with any newer Tesla (more range and faster charging capabilities).
I heard you say you get 250 miles I’ve noticed that that to on mines lately just six months or more was getting 259/260 r u seeing that to be normal for those of us with 2014-& older
Thank you, I really appreciate it! The 100,000 mile odometer warranty was the bumper to bumper warranty I got buying it as a CPO. The battery and drive unit are unlimited mileage/8 year from date the car was made. So I have about 2 years left on that 👍🏽
@@CarsAndKyleVlogs I haven't either but it does look a 'little' annoying due to having to get your parking validated to not pay, and I have see it crowded but I guess if the stall notification is right and there is no wait it shouldn't be too bad.
