I definitely would qualify as OCD on windshield cleaning. I always keep a bottle of Quik Detailer and a half dozen microfiber cloths to keep the windshield clear. It's too distracting to me while driving to see all the bug splats. I also use the detailer on the front grill area to keep the bug guts from drying and making a really tough mess to clean later.

Funny story while I’m watching your video that I was patiently waiting on ... I just got my model 3 (thanks to you for all the videos) and took it, wife , kid and dog on a 1500 mile trip and saw a ton of Superchargers and states... every time I left a supercharger I would say “time to rip it to the next charger” .. I was doing this on purpose until she finally asked “why do you keep saying that” lol. I did it because you would say it when leaving the SC on your trips :) lol. I had her watch some videos while waiting on charging to complete , she loves the videos .

Fantastic adventure, looking forward to the next one. As a road warrior myself, I definitely recommend getting some wet wipes. At times when you cannot get to a shower or it's extremely inconvenient they can be a lifesaver. I definitely recommend going to Walmart and picking up the parents choice brand. They have a few different scents you can choose from. Do not ever buy the flushable type. unless you absolutely have to. They generally tear apart like tissue paper when you're trying to clean yourself which defeats the purpose. you can definitely keep yourself presentable and reasonably clean feeling if you use these everyday. For showers I'm sure you know this but truck stops often have really nice showers I definitely recommend Loves truck stops overall. They seem to keep the showers nice and clean. They are large enough that you could both take showers at the same time, rather than paying for two separate showers just ask them for extra towels and washcloths. They usually have the hot cranked up and the water pressure cranked up so you can definitely get yourself nice and squeaky clean. Usually the showers cost about $12. Not sure where you're going next, but I definitely recommend the Grand canyon, meteor crater, and monument valley. and whatever order is convenient. Monument valley you can drive through take your time doesn't require a lot of hiking. You could probably spend a week at the Grand canyon if you wanted to. Meteor crater is spectacular if a little bit expensive, not something I would see twice but definitely worth seeing for the first time. Hope you have a wonderful trip drive safe.

Placing the inverter on something soft, e.g., blanket, will restrict cooling, increase heat build up and decease longevity. It would be better to place the inverter on top of something hard that will not block the ventilation openings, like a small cookie sheet (heat resistant in case inverter malfunctions). Thanks for the videos! Too bad C-19 ruined my M3P Europe road trip. Interesting to compare charging networks, as NA has better supercharger coverage than EU (and way more V3's) but we have more 3rd party 50/150/350 kW chargers and native CCS here. Also AC charging kicks ass in my country as almost all public sockets are up to 22 kW and most homes have 3P x 16A x 230V = 11kW available and a minimum of 13A x 230V = 3kW. Keep up keeping up! I was wondering how a Tesla would do out in the Rockies with the steep grades as far as the affect on the distance you can travel.

My wife and I are loving watching you guys! We just watched this episode on the big display on the ferry home from picking up our new Model Y! We loved that there was a little more Alyssa in this one. You two together are gold! The eye rolls during Kyle’s drink bit! 🤣

(PS: Jude was a dermatology nurse for years and she says there’s an easy DIY fix for those white spots on skin.)

Alyssa Zupan Jude says it’s a common fungal thing. Put some Selsen Blue on the spots for 5 min then rinse it off. Repeat once a day for 3-5 days and it’ll clear right up!

Awesome video! That Starbucks habit sounds a bit much to me, I guess they found a way to squeeze another dollar and a half from you. Would love to see some videos from the hikes, esp if you find one that is dog friendly. Looking forward to the next in your road trip series.

Out of all the parks we have only seen one dog friendly hike and that’s in Zion! National parks will allow you to have dogs but they can’t go but a couple feet from pavement.

@@theoosalyssa1158 That makes sense. I guess I am more used to BLM and National Forest hikes, typically always dog friendly, esp. the BLM ones.

Why is your sound recording level so inconsistent? Could you use a clip on microphone?

What a beautiful part of the world. So what Netflix shows do you two watch on those stops? Also how do you politely ask to plug into someone's 110 outlet like at that campground office? Props to ChargePoint for getting on that Chademo charger so fast. Yes, Alyssa and her sister look a lot alike. No, I'm not going to guess who's older - I'm not stupid ;-) 44:17 You tell them Alyssa. "Honey, it rains" - Bahaha

We have been watching space force recently! We just ask to use their outlet to charge our car, never had someone say no.
