Your videos make me want to move to USA and get a tesla so bad. I literally check your channel every few days. Probably one of the most under rated channels on YT. This channel is gonna blow up one day- like tesla stock. ;)

I love how these videos are showing that you can go pretty much anywhere with an electric vehicle (especially Tesla) nowadays. The charging infrastructure keeps growing so rapidly. It's awesome to see these new chargers everywhere. Keep up the videos. Always great to watch.

Both my wife and I really loved this video, we both went to the University of Montana in Missoula. We got married in Glacier National Park and we now live in Idaho Falls and go to Yellowstone a least once a month in the summer. We are both huge EV fans and are buying a model 3 in 2021. Thanks for the great content.

Maybe talk to Starbucks to sponsor some of the trip. Pitch them “America’s travel companion” or “Your travel companion.” We certainly enjoy their breakfast sandwiches, yogurt and the healthier teas when road tripping. Another great episode Kyle! Thank you. We’ve definitely been inspired and gotten out of our comfort zone on road trips and done more “camp like” activities.

Funny story while I’m watching your video that I was patiently waiting on ... I just got my model 3 (thanks to you for all the videos) and took it, wife , kid and dog on a 1500 mile trip and saw a ton of Superchargers and states... every time I left a supercharger I would say “time to rip it to the next charger” .. I was doing this on purpose until she finally asked “why do you keep saying that” lol. I did it because you would say it when leaving the SC on your trips :) lol. I had her watch some videos while waiting on charging to complete , she loves the videos .

Watching early morning here in California over a couple of flat whites while prepping for the work day and distance learning for the kiddos. Thanks for sharing your epic roadtrip with us. We took a much shorter roadtrip with our Model X last week, great to be out and about.

It was fun joining you for this excellent adventure. You guys did a great job of showing us how to work the information about the charging network locations, planning different kinds of stops along the way, and slipped in info about needed stuff and when it's of advantage. The places on this segment were familiar (from MINI trips), viewed with a different perspective. Thank you Kyle, Alyssa, and the dogs!

FYI we had drive-ins with A&W in Canada. I’m sure there are still some around just not A&W. Love your idea of road tripping. I kinda do the same thing. Just bought my Model Y last month and absolutely love it. I am a mountain biker and my Model Y is the perfect vehicle for my road tripping down to Utah, Nevada and California. I live in Alberta just on the other side of Glacier National Park. Looking forward to the border opening soon and taking my Tesla south. I love the way your using your tesla as an absolute workhorse. makes me wonder how many miles it will have on it when you sell it.

If you get a chance on the way back, try to stop by Ozark AR. Rumor has it they have a SuperCharger going in along the I-40 route. A stretch from Oklahoma City, a triangle to Tulsa and then Ozark would be practical.

Had similar drive-in restaurants in South Africa when I grew up. Unfortunately no more "roadhouses" anymore.

Model Y would have provided much needed space & storage perhaps -- albeit, Yakima storage unit was the saving grace. Model 3 seems too small even for 2 adults & 2 dogs not designed for any lengthy road trips. But heck, you proved me wrong. Fantastic adventure, looking forward to the next one. As a road warrior myself, I definitely recommend getting some wet wipes. At times when you cannot get to a shower or it's extremely inconvenient they can be a lifesaver. I definitely recommend going to Walmart and picking up the parents choice brand. They have a few different scents you can choose from. Do not ever buy the flushable type. unless you absolutely have to. They generally tear apart like tissue paper when you're trying to clean yourself which defeats the purpose. you can definitely keep yourself presentable and reasonably clean feeling if you use these everyday. For showers I'm sure you know this but truck stops often have really nice showers I definitely recommend Loves truck stops overall. They seem to keep the showers nice and clean. They are large enough that you could both take showers at the same time, rather than paying for two separate showers just ask them for extra towels and washcloths. They usually have the hot cranked up and the water pressure cranked up so you can definitely get yourself nice and squeaky clean. Usually the showers cost about $12. Not sure where you're going next, but I definitely recommend the Grand canyon, meteor crater, and monument valley. and whatever order is convenient. Monument valley you can drive through take your time doesn't require a lot of hiking. You could probably spend a week at the Grand canyon if you wanted to. Meteor crater is spectacular if a little bit expensive, not something I would see twice but definitely worth seeing for the first time. Hope you have a wonderful trip drive safe.

I work at Starbucks and we don’t charge for extra base, it’s just a button we have to press for inventory purposes. If you ask for a receipt, you’ll see there is no extra charge for it. My only guess is that prices are different in different areas and taxes are different; affecting the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed this you tube segment. My wife and I have decided to do glacier, Yellowstone, grand Teton, and arches this summer. I think we will take the Ford Explorer and leave the Mach E home. Glad I watched this.

Hey people we picked up the dogs poop, we actually have over 350 bio degradable bags we have used over the trip. Disclaimer Kyle andI don’t want to filmed picking up dog poop but if anyone was concerned their poos were very healthy and abundant double bagged even.

Hey Kyle, about your question of drive-in restaurants outside of U.S. I live in Brazil and here with the pandemic stuff I saw just 2 restaurants go that way in the most populated city(Sao Paulo), not so much popular as drive-thru's. Great series and video there! Looking forward to the next episode!

Placing the inverter on something soft, e.g., blanket, will restrict cooling, increase heat build up and decease longevity. It would be better to place the inverter on top of something hard that will not block the ventilation openings, like a small cookie sheet (heat resistant in case inverter malfunctions). I really enjoy your travels!! Your dogs can be a scene stealer (good doggies).

It’s true though last month I was supercharging and put a wet towel on the handle and water must’ve cut through and it zapped and killed me and my hands been sore ever since

Found these videos a bit late but I'm looking to get a Tesla and it's great to see that it's possible to do trips around national parks and still find charging. The charging around Glacier seemed a bit sketchy considering if someone else was also needing to charge their EV you're kinda screwed... 🤷‍♂️ I'm surprised how cavalier you are about driving off road considering there's also no spare in the Teslas. Overall great content.

Thanks for the videos! Too bad C-19 ruined my M3P Europe road trip. Interesting to compare charging networks, as NA has better supercharger coverage than EU (and way more V3's) but we have more 3rd party 50/150/350 kW chargers and native CCS here. Also AC charging kicks ass in my country as almost all public sockets are up to 22 kW and most homes have 3P x 16A x 230V = 11kW available and a minimum of 13A x 230V = 3kW. Keep up keeping up! I currently live in Medford Oregon. I recomend visiting Crater Lake National Park. Yes there is a Tesla Destination charger for your Modle 3.

You should not chain extension cords together like that. Charging cords have wires sized for the distance they go. If you chain them they can overheat and worst case catch fire
