Can 1,000 Union Army troopers defeat this Confederate super fortress defense in the form of a brutal star fortress? Or will the fort resist the siege. Spicy. Star fortress battles are cool. Invented in 1500s I believe. Also ok Americans and your thank giving it's practically christmas.

Bruh! I didn’t know men of war had a civil war mod! And Glory is such a great film. I remember loving it growing up as well. When I was in 4 or 5 there was a mini series called Gettysburg that my dad used to watch. I loved that show as well. Those films along with Platoon are what got me into messing around with Army Men lol

Some conflicts people rarely do in Men of War or RTS are the French-Indochina War (France vs the Viet-Minh in Vietnam, look it up) and the Arab-Israeli War of 1948, which was also the second stage of the 1947-1949 Palestine War. But it's definitely nice that you're covering the BITFA mod. Always love your Men of War mod videos. Should you ever do more Call to Arms (not necessarily Gates of Heckin', but just CtA in general), I'm sure there are some nice mods out there to try for it and it's definitely a learning curve compared to MoW: AS2, but it's still fun once you've gotten the hang of the different modes, but for all intents and purposes, it's overall the same type of gameplay with some different features. Not sure how it'd handle old timey eras like this, though, so I'd keep to AS2 for stuff like this.

It would be really cool if you did some kind of all vehicle and artillery battle, without the focus on the troops. You could possibly add in some rocket troopers or troop transports carrying a small amount of soldiers, but a large scale vehicle battle would be really cool.

Glory has always been one of my favorite movies. Cary Elwes, Matthew Broderick, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Andre Braugher, the cast was amazing all around

I'm incredibly new to the game series and am trying to figure out the specific mod that allows these types of battle simulators just to mess around with but for the life of me can't figure it out. Some say you need the GAW mod or other ones. I would love to get some going with friends, any help would be super helpful. Videos on which mods, how to download them from steam, and apply them? Links to videos already created?I'm asking a lot, for that I apologize.

The editor allows these battles but watch some tutorials as it has a learning curve but it's easy after learning. And try some mods out.

@@jowijanssen I think I have found a tutorial that gives me the basics, after a bit of exploring I will delve into more advanced options. Setting up cameras for cinematics and things. I love the history of world war two but will definitely go into modern warfare, star wars and such. I spoke before doing more research. Thank you for the tip.

@@micahmorgan-rice9104 no problem! just remember that mowas2 is coded too use a max of 2gb ram, use large address aware if it keeps crashing, and delete deadbody''s time from time, it will prevent some crashes. and always place units in f3 mode and save in f2 and f3 mode in that order.

Forever is a n impossible thing Daley becaus emen need to feed themselves and if they run out oif food well they'll die, if they have enough food then they'll die of old age and won't be replaced. teh Star Foirtresses were design by the French engeneer Vauban who described how to build one and bettre of all siege one.

star fortress replace castles because gunpower technology got to advanced for castles and star fortress became obsolete in ww1 and becoming obsolete in the civil war
