Jesus! I was blown away by the detail then I saw the key in the ignition followed by the folding top!!! 🤯 Absolutely gorgeous! Probably has a gorgeous price tag too. Lol!
eBay * from $400-$1,500 depends on the condition and all the accessories that come with it like box, paperwork, display case, possibly any missing broken damaged or repaired parts.
This video doesn’t even show all the features, like the working lights, including indicators and brake lights! They’re awesome models! I keep looking on eBay trying to get a bargain, it no luck so far! Still between £800 and a £1000 her in the uk!
I’m here to see how to work my new car. I just purchased this same one except in red today off eBay BRAND NEW unopened with the display wood & glass case paperwork and box & ALL for $375 lol I don’t think she knew what she had but I got a DAMNNNN GREAT STEAL GOD IS GOOD!!!!! I can’t wait to open it
Great video, i have a Franklin Mint 1957 Chevy and it doesn't have the gear shifter or blinker lever, how can they forget something like that? other than that it has nice detail. Even the cheap models have a shifter and blinker lever.
I have the red one........had it since 2005. I’ve noticed lately that the top material is “peeling”. Is there any way to restore this to make it near new? Absolutely love these cars! I have both the ‘56 and ‘57 Corvette, the ‘65 Mustang convertible, and this one in red. It’s too bad that Danbury had to cease making these cars.......mostly due to their factory being shut down by the Chinese government. 😟
Only thing wrong is the music track! Should be 1950's sock hop, Buddy Holly, Elvis and music like that would give the video more impact for a nice car!
@@yamahaguy1732 NO WAY!!! I've never seen it as a kit, but I do know they made more of a drag car out of it and it was a hard top but I've only seen one on ebay once and it was selling for around $1,000. Are you sure it was 1:12 scale like this one? I know Franklin Mint had a kit version of theirs but it's only 1/24 scale
