It looks great and I agree, a wide stripe would have looked a bit off. I think you nailed it withe sizing. It looks super all hooked up to the truck and out running around! When eventually do one of these I am going to have to get the Beier sound units so i can program in sound clips of Optimus saying things. It is one of the reasons I have not committed to doing it yet as all of it together is going to be pricy but I do look forward to building on eventually!
The sound system is a good idea. I've seen a video of someone with a Knight Rider trailer and used sounds and voices. It may have been the same system.
The trailer looks great as does Optimus, have you considered adding the MFU? I will be doing this very same build early next year and it has been ages since my last 1/14 truck build I am shocked at all the aftermarket stuff now, all I had back them was ball bearings and the mfu.
@@rcinhand9671 I just snagged the MFU off eBay for about $200 shipped from Japan, I couldn't pass it up....now they are tempting me with all the brass gears for the transmission and aluminum chassis cross members
