1/144 Brewster Buffalo Aircraft RAF - Mark 1 Models - MY FIRST SCALE MODEL!

This 1/144 scale kit was an absolute pleasure to review, assemble and paint. For those that are new to my channel, I'm primarily a wargamer but I've always had an interest in scale models and I've decided to combine the two. I hope this video will help inspire others to follow suit!
Things to note:
- Props are from www.propblur.com .
- Tamiya paints mixed with Tamiya acrylic thinners at a 1:1 ratio, airbrush set to 20PSI and 0.15mm needle used for all airbrushing.
- Harder and Steenbeck 2in1 Evo airbrush.

I used to build in 1/144 but darn, that was a long long time ago. I had a whole little air force. Fun models, quick to build and paint and easy to make look good. Good to see.

Doing my own version of this kit and thanks for sharing how you did yours, love it! Although it is a RAAF version you've done not RAF.

That's awesome 👌 be sure to show me how yours comes out 😁 in regards to the RAF markings, they're what's marked on the decal sheet but I've just checked on google and you're spot on!! How did I miss that? Thanks for the correction.

@@paintingpanzers all good mate! it doesn't detract from your fine model although the options are for RAAF & RAF based in Singapore as per the box. I've ordered the blurred props so looking forward to using them.

@@trekanbelluvitsh haha easily done mate, I find myself in the same boat 🤣 upon further research he is sitting really low but I couldn't do much about that as he was a 1/144 pilot 😔 perhaps I could've given him a bigger butt or seat!

I have so many questions! Firstly what airbrush are you using to do these models with? What pressure setting do you have the airbrush Airfeed set to? What paints are you using? Are they oil based or water-based? I see what appears to be codes ,and are those with a particular paint manufacturer? Here in the United States we’re used to seeing FS which means field standard and then a number following the FS to know what color the paint is. incredible video incredible work! A true artist!

WOW thank you for your lovely words. I do apologise for the lack of information, its all still new to me so it's all things I'll add in the future 😊 I do have more information within the video description but I'll add it to the video next time 😉 1) Harder and Steenbeck 2in1 Evo with an additional .15mm needle/nozzle. 2) I only used my .15mm needle for this plane which I set my compresser to 1 bar (15psi) but you could do it at 20psi. 3) The paints used are all Tamiya acrylic for airbrushing thinned 1:1 with Tamiya acrylic thinners X20A. The paints used after airbrushing are all VJ water based. The codes shown are for the Tamiya and VJ paints. I'm not sure on the FS numbers unfortunately 😔 I hope this helps and if you have any other questions I'm happy to answer them 😁
