A long overdue video of my now Full-Option 1:16 Tamiya #36208 Flakpanzer Gepard 1A2.
Bought back in 2011 as a rereleased Display Stand Model and Full Option converted in 2019 - Crude Build Log: imgur.com/a/fxHQqrn
The model uses the older ( but not vintage ) Tamiya Gearboxes with one motor per track known from their RC Tanks #56010 and up ( Tiger, Pershing, KV-2, etc... )
The main Electronics are from SGS-Electronic.de comprising of the TVC-TRF-10-AAT as the Brains in the Chassis and a TVC-TC-13 Daughterboard in the Turret greatly reducing the wiring into the Turret down to 6 from at least 19 ( more if I had added a warning light ).
Upgrade parts for the 1A2 conversion and improvements like metal running gear with actual bearings were mostly bought AfV-Model.com.
The Stinger Pods were created by myself - Sadly though the TVC-TRF-10-AAT does not support them being setup like such so proper lighting was a NoGo - I was only able to change the MG Sound to that of a Rocket being fired.
The original 35mm sound supplied with the Controller was changed to that of a MG42 from the Jin-Roh Movie - Not the most accurate representation but a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
