Your sentiments about your late wife brought me to tears. It reminded me of how important it is to appreciate the time you get with your spouse. We are only on year 10 of marriage, and I have hard time imagining my life without my best friend. I’m so glad you shared. It helps put things into perspective and I hope that I am as brave as you are.
Try to cherish all the little things, even the ones that might annoy you, because those are among the things you'll be missing the most if you ever end up with out that person. In the meantime, always let them know how much they mean to you...don't smoother them with it though LOL.
For filling the swimming pool there are two options. One is placing a layer of blocks just below the desired level of water and filling that single layer. Then destroying the blocks holding the water so it flows down to the bottom and fills the pool. The second would be to find the opposite top and bottom corners and write down their coordinates. Then on chat type: /fill (Cords) (Cords) water. This will fill the pool completely with water. Hope this helps and I hope you have a merry Christmas as well.
I'm very sorry for your loss. Ive been using your Minecraft playlist to sleep for months now. Its the calmest and best ASMR ive ever heard. I remembered hearing you mention your wife being sick and hearing you talking about your loss now broke my heart. It probably doesn't compare to your loss but i lost a friend who i truly looked up to as invincible. You're right in the sense that nobody's invincible. Life isnt to be taken for granted. Thank you for your content. I genuinely cherish it.
Congratulations on finally finishing the windows. I'll sort out the liner and pool for you R, no worries on that. Easy way to fill it is /fill but that command is not to be used lightly. Sono levelled half the city with that command back a few years ago when he got coordinates mixed up.
Merry Christmas! If you build a temporary floor 1 block below the top of the pool, and then add water source blocks on every one of those blocks, if you break all the blocks it should perfectly fill the whole of the pool!
Perfect timing, as I'm recovering from covid and about to take a much needed nap. I hope making these videos is just as therapeutic for you as they are for us. Editing my comment to say I have been playing a lot of solitaire lately too! It helps to keep my anxious mind focused on something calming.
The easiest way to fill a large hole with water in minecraft is to fill the whole first from end to end with blocks. Then, place a water bucket on each of those individual blocks. After you have a water source on each block, you can then break the initial solid blocks underneath the water sources, and you will be left with a clean, smoothly filled pool of water. Hope that helps. Merry Christmas R. Thank you for the video. Glad you are well.
Big fan of all types of Solitaires, Klondike (what most people call Solitaire) is fun, but my most preferred version is Free Cell! I find the freedom of movement to make for a slightly more enjoyable variant to me
Theres a good trick to filling up an entire space like that with water! All you have to do is just place blocks (dirt blocks are best so theyre broken easily) 1 block below the surrounding pool floor walkways and cover the entire hole. Now just place water over that space to create a 1 block deep swimming pool, and then all you have to do is break that floor and all the water will fill down to that bedrock layer :)
For the pool, put a bunch of blocks (any block except sponge) 1 block below the floor, and then put water all over that, then break the blocks, and the water will flow down
That center click trick with your mouse will also work even if your hotbar is full of items, it'll replace one. If you already have the block somewhere in your hotbar, middle clicking will also select it
There is a command for filling stuff in, its known as the fill command. I suggest searching 'how to do the minecraft fill command', as I don't quite remember how. Hope this helps!
I heart you Mr. R. And I dont mind your clicky mouse. I miss it a little bit, in fact. Keep up the projects, in survival and in Patronville. I love solitaire, too. Dont even know why. Its just satisfying - especially "vegas solitaire." I used to beg my friend to compete with me to see who completed the game the fastest.. but, well, it's not the most exciting game on the planet... You should upload solitaire games again! Also, I ain't got no advertisements at the end of your videos quite yet. At least on mobile. Anyway, you got this! I think of you during my hard times. Thanks for uploading, and sorry for my spontaneous edits. I like to add more the more i watch. You're real strong. We understand. Now, get to building >:)!
Hey, I for the pool seal yourself in by putting a temporary ceiling over you at the top then placing water buckets on the ceiling and then all that water will fall down and fill it up
For muting harsh noises like glass breaking, the best way I can imagine doing it, is pressing a button that marks a timestamp for where that noise is, so when you edit it you can lower the volume in those spots. But that's obviously a bit techy, and I'm not even sure how you'd set it up.
Played five games of it a few minutes ago. Won each with no problem, average score probably around 125. Then there are some mornings that I can play 3,4, or 5 games and not win a single one. It's like I'm either on or off, nothing in between LOL.
The easiest way to fill a huge place like that up with water is to build a grid across the very top layer, place buckets of water on the sides of those, and delete blocks as you go so you can fill tthem with water. The water will flow all the way down, and fill it
One thing I've found that circumvents the ads at the end while watching on my Roku TV is to set a sleep timer for roughly the duration of the video. So, for this video, I would set the sleep timer for an hour, and then the TV turns off before the ad plays, preventing the loud ad from playing and waking me up. By 40 minutes I'm using asleep anyways, so I'd have to go back and rewatch the part of the video that I missed anyways. It's unfortunate that this is an issue in the first place though :(
Card Games: love Durak and Hearts RU-vid Premium: I have it. No video ads, creator gets more than from a 'free' viewer AdBlock: very simple and recommended for the general Web, but it does in fact not earn any revenue for the creator
