1968 Ford Mustang GT is an iconic vehicle, loved by thousands, thanks to the unforgettable Steve McQueen's famous road chase from the movie Bullitt. However the production would not have chosen a Mustang GT, unless the car was really a superb one to feature. And that's why we love this car over here.
Year 1968 saw the most number of variations from the first generation Mustangs. From Hard Top coupes, Cabriolets, Fastbacks, and special editions and Shelby models, each having great many choices with interior and exterior trims and engine specs to power up the ride. Ford went all out to win the market. And this Fastback having 2+2 seating, with a 390 cubic inch engine had the beautiful combination of great looks with the power to woo the hearts.

You can start with the Bullitt 1968 Mustang GT if you want to be quick :D, that's still available around, and i guess that's the most sought after 1968 in anyway.

Very nice details as expected when reading AUTOart. But it looks a bit like the headlamps aren't the same or perhabs the one at the passenger side is not correct pouched into the body. At least by the video it looks like that this lamp is a bit off. Perhabs an optical illusion from the camera angle.

I highly appreciate your view mate. I enjoy these comments as gives me opportunity to address and improve on my sharing abilities. In my collecting journey i have started accepting that models will not be 100% perfect. Some come with paint blemishes, some with misalignment here and there on the doors or wheels, or some minor issues, etc. Saying this, when i look at this model upfront, i fail to notice anything that jumps off. Not sure, may be the reflection around the edges in the video causing the imperfection I feel. I will not say Autoart is the absolute best in everything they do, however the solid feel in this diecast model, the rich paint, and reasonable details with working features make it feel like a great collectible when you hold it in the hand.

@@srideas2286 I know what you mean. The model manufacturers aren't 100 % perfect and some minor issues can be survived just by the fact holding the entire model in your hand. Just yesterday I received a Mercedes GLB - not a classic car but I love Mercedes. I was already knowing the manufacturer Z-Models is producing this model in Bangladesh and that it is by far not perfect. So also my model - but overall it is good looking and that's why I wanted it and why I bought it and why I am keeping it. And by knowing the issues I knew where to buy it because I knew how much money it is worth for me to pay for an model with minor issues from factory. Then I didn't buy it at the usual model trading company that wants a price for Z-Models like for Norev because it is a Mercedes model, then no, I bought it at a Mercedes car dealership for the amount that I am thinking is fair. And holding the model in the hand makes you still satisfied because you know you're having it now :-)
