Can we replace the chickpeas with something else to make it Keto friendly? Maybe double the almond flour? Would it work? This recipe looks amazing thank you 🙏🏻
the first ingredient is psyllium husk, its a thickening agent used instead of egg, you can use chia seeds or flaxseeds instead if you dont have psyllium! The second ingredient is nutritional yeast, which isnt like normal yeast and adds a cheesy flavour! Hope this helps❤️🥰👋
i would just stack them with a small bit of parchment paper between them so they dont stick to eachother, put in ziplock bag or airtight container and then cook as needed!❤️🥰👋
This looks delicious and I can’t wait to try it! Yum! I’m new to plant based cooking, so I’m still trying to figure things out as I learn. I have a couple of questions: 1) What is the ring that you used to shape the patties called? 2) What would be a good substitution for psyllium husk powder if I’m not able to find it? 3) Can you use almond flour and not almond meal? Thank you so much!
Hello! Thank you for all your questions and welcome to your plant based journey! 1) you can use a basic cookie cutter! 2) you can use chia seeds or flax seeds instead of psyllium husk and 3) you can use almond flour although they are slightly different texture wise. I recommend getting almond meal anyway as its a staple in many vegan recipes!❤️❤️
First time watching a vegan vid! I like the tick- tocks! Any difference if I ownfry instead of oven for such small amount? Of course the topping part I will x replicate. Maybe m/ wave?
thank you for watching this video! I dont think it will make a difference how you cook them, although i dont think a microwave can replicate the crispiness!😁🫶⭐️
My beautiful boy......he was hurting?? 😢 julia, as you know I have 10😻 who are outside in the garden or mountain.....and everyday my heart is beating when they are late home❤🔥but as long they are safe and healthy feels good 😻send my best wishes vibe 🥰🥰🥰
aww what are their names? I get worried when Lancey is home late too. he wasn't feeling great but he was very brave at the vet clinic. he is much better now, but still not as cheerful as before. Your cats must really love the outdoors if you live near a mountain? How wonderful😁🫶⭐️
I don't see why it's being advertised as better than meat. It's not competing with meat. I do find this recipe interesting though. I use nutritional yeast alot as a cheesy taste and see this as a great low carb lactose free base to expand upon. I want to try a pesto artichoke topping. I am not familiar with psyllium husk, new thing to look into. Have you experimented with wider/thiner disc's? Also, what cheese are you using? I keep getting ones that don't melt.
Thank you for watching this video. psyllium husk is a thickening agent that you can substitute with chia seeds or flaxseeds if you wish. I haven't experimented with the sizes of these discs, but im sure you could make them thicker. I cant disclose the exact brand I use for the cheese, because of youtube guidelines, but you should research some recommendations online depending on the brands in your area. Thanks for tuning in☺️🥰❤️
My videos are ASMR cooking and so many people enjoy it this way and find it relaxing to watch. Talking videos are much longer too. Thank you for watching! Have a nice day! 🌞💖
It's a little ridiculous to get angry because another person cooks differently to you. You are free to make any substitutions/omissions you wish! Take this video as inspiration and run with it 🙃In answer to your question, garlic powder is mostly used for convinience. It is not harmful, it is just dried, ground garlic. Personally, I always substitute garlic powder when it's an uncooked recipe because I have found I do not care for raw garlic (love it cooked!).
