Compare this experience with "The Lab", simple games showing what the system can do, but The Lab is free and actually fun, while 1-2 switch tries to be something he was not meant to be (a party game).

1 2 Switch is okay... it depends who you play with and in what situation. Played it tonight with friends and drinks and that was okay, mainly just laughing both at the game and at each other. But it should NOT be near full price. Even free is pushing it. So i don't blame Frash for disliking this game at all. It's honestly not that good...

Frash, I just want you to know that every bit of pain you've experienced with the switch so far has been more than made up for by the laughs you've brought your viewers. Btw, there is a full competitive tournament style mode - Team Battle (2 - 20 players) - the main mode of the game, unlocked when the full list of games were at 22:05, that you briefly noticed but skipped over. Unfortunately you were playing just the demo/try-me mode instead. It doesn't make it the best game in the world obviously, but it does make it a lot better than try-me-ing them with no competitive scoring. I think you would enjoy it... at least a little :P

This MIGHT be fun if they went for more of a WarioWare thing. Faster paced, with a lot of variety. But they present them as individual games, and none of them are particularly fun on their own, so you play them once and then never again.

Oh my god. This was $60? $60 CAD or USD? Because either is way too high. This feels like it should have come with the console to show off what the new motion controls do.

you definitely need more people. I played 1 2 switch with 7 of my friends and it was a blast. laughing the whole time. sure half the time was laughing how dumb it is but the order half was fun competitive stuff.

Omg, this was 1h? It felt like 10 for some reason, that's how boring this game was. (But thanks for the AMAZING laughs during the stream, I couldn't stop laughing at Fraser's dancing and the staring of Becky).

I didn't expect much out of this game but I still thought it would be better than it is. Lots of the games aren't even real games. You feel like you're just swinging the Joy-Con around for no other reason than to look stupid. Give it a few months and this game will either be in a bargain bin or bundled with the system. On second thought, it isn't worth bundling. They should have taken the couple of half decent games and just included them in another game.

This doesnt really seem like an actual video game,it seems like one of those games at a pizza and gaming places like dave n busters or johns incredible,not alot of substance but fun in tiny little doses and with alot of novelty that gets old quick

This is definitely the type of game that's fun to play, but kinda boring to watch. Lot a hate from the chat today lol. Though to be honest, this should have been a 10-15 dollar tech demo on the store instead of a launch title. It reminds me a lot of the early kinect games, with a lot of cool gimmicks that never really went anywhere. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

I've seen lots of people trying to defend this game and it's sad. It's looks tedious and boring and 100% should not have been 60 fucking dollars. Nintendo is trying to milk money from its fanbase instead of making actual fun party games that are worth the money. Hopefully Fraser and Becky have extra fun at the next Fourplay Friday to make up for what they had to deal with here.

The game doesn't really create much excitement/competitiveness. It's music is not very engaging, tedious menu/tutorials, etc; it doesn't encourage a party atmosphere. I can see some of the novelty of it but it was not as well executed as other tech demo games.

Wow, what a shitty game. The concept, the visuals, and the games are not appealing. I still really want a Switch, despite the little annoyances I've seen/heard people have experienced. I couldn't get it due to every store having so little stock around me, but I'm really looking forward to playing Zelda and Bomberman (which I bought). Plus the digital titles coming out (Blastermaster, Yooka-Laylee, etc.).

Nintendo has gotten way to gimmicky since the Wii, I like the Switches dock and mobile but all this joy con just reminds me of the shitty Wii controller, it's just a gimmick that will soon get old.

Yep called it, this is exactly what the game deserved as a title for an episode of VGA. This was a shit game, not to mention the lack of personality from the menu and the two hours of technical difficulties (Please Understand) only compounded to make things worse.When the Wii U came out I wanted to wait until games were out for it, my youngest brother wanted it so bad he ended up getting it the December of 2012 a month after the console released. The reason I wanted to hold out was to wait for the games to actually release for it-which didn't happen until 2014 (Fantastic Year of Luigi Content for Wii U, one game...that's it.) So now that the Wii U is dead I look back to see a whopping...4 games, that I own for this brick. And then Nintendo has the gaul to try and win us over with this...we who got burned by Nintendo. Plus not to mention all the other misteps they've made towards how they treat their fanbase (removing fan games, not saying why they keep removing Mario Maker levels, etc.) and this is just another reason I will continue to not buy from them-and from Nintendo of all people?! How do they mess it up this badly over and over and over and over again?!
