1/24/23 Storm Footage | Baytown/Deer Park, TX 

Wow. Didn't think this video would gain the traction that it did. So of course there are the glaring audio issues and some other things I did in said video that should not ever be done. Mainly sheltering under an overpass during a tornado. Granted it did not come near me but still. As for the audio, I usually aim for silent videos when shooting storms so this was kind of out of the ordinary anyways. Though I will definitely try to fix that in the future. Hopefully y'all still enjoy the video anyways haha. Also thanks for the 100 subscribers! Was at 60 this morning and when I got off work, I had seen it had shot up drastically. Definitely made my day.

I'm wondering why storm shelter couldn't be under those bridges you know like huge walkin shelters? When there's a threat let the city open them with a signal to give to each lock in the warned area.

A nearly 21 minute video filled from start to finish with what not to do in a Tornado Emergency. 👍😎👍 You should've turned around at "I don't know where I'm at..." and "I'm blind because my RadarScope isn't updating..." Looks like you need more training before chasing any severe weather, let alone rain wrapped tornadoes. Good luck with not becoming a statistic.

James - I have never seen a video of yours before. I too had trouble with your video's audio. You did put some captioning. My heart jumped into my throat when you said that you were seeking protection from a possible tornado under an underpass. You are perpetuating a myth that was started by an idiotic Kansas TV reporter who told everyone to climb up under the underpass to escape a coming tornado. They of course credited their survival to the underpass. The fact is the tornado dealt a glancing blow and they would have been killed had it hit straight on. Being under an underpass is the WORST place that you could be. The underpass acts as a wind tunnel concentrating the wind through a narrow opening. This can result in a wind speed high that you could be sicked out. Since this damn underpass video showed up on TV in 1991 there have been countless lives lost under underpasses. The other thing that is happening is that everyone is trying to get under an underpass now, They abandon their cars in the underpass and block traffic on roads that people are using as an escape route, Now you have 250 people stranded in their cars because of the cars under the underpass with no place to go from the tornado that is bearing down on them. If you do not believe me, check with your local emergency manager or the National Weather Service office near you. I then implore you to remove that caption with is telling people that underpasses are the place to go in a storm. It is bad advice and may cause people to die.
