Heck yes!!! That is well set up. From what I can tell from the video, it is endless amount of obstacles at any direction you choose to make. 30 plus years ago, as a kid, I can remember dreaming or wishing I could take full advantage of the almost infinite measure of plastic glue together models for the body, ranging from any year make and model. But, back then, a micro servo and other electronics was so expensive, I think a micro servo was like $75 bucks or more. And electronic speed controllers were just so out of a young kids lawn mowing and news paper route money income. But, seeing how much the RC has progressed, and in great detail and options and parts availability is just amazing. A few months ago, my city just opened up a new hobby store and I checked it out, and WOW, even slot cars today are highly detailed and what was just on the shelves to choose from was amazing, and then they showed me a catalog for the slot cars, and there was 100's of body's and several chassis formats to pick from for a more competitive spirit of racing challenges. Thanks for show casing this little video clip, I think I am gonna just jump in and start with the 1/24th scale rock crawlers, they seem simple enough to learn what all is going on in this new world of RC. Good luck.
Get a scx24, run and modify as you go, they really don't need much to perform, I haven't even modified mine, and probably won't except brass weight wheels. I may turn mine into a monster truck through aftermarket 3d printing, there are lots of options to go any direction with them such as 4 wheel steer, 6x6, monster truck, rock bouncer, even drag racing. Honestly can't go wrong for the money with all of the aftermarket support.
I have a corner in my backyard i use for testing. I have to move it around constantly because i get over everuthing to easily. Its become a favorite fishing partner lol. Plenty of lines at the lake/river for it
I had that exact Chevy rc but the motor broke and I haven’t replaced it so it’s sitting in the closet lol but I upgraded last Christmas and now I have a 1/10 scale traxxas 4 sport with the proline 1978 step side chevy square body
Yes. We have 3 classes. Stock Class 1, class 2 allows upgrades but must be brushed with stock chassis, and Class 3 that can have brushless motors and aftermarket chassis with taller tires.
