1/32 Trumpeter AV-8B Harrier Build Series - Part 2: Main fuselage assembly 

I love them. Not overly complicated. Detail adequate, not great on some. Prices are reasonable. You will see my finished Growler on my bench update tomorrow and I did a 11 part build series. Mig-29 was excellent, Tamiya fit. So too was the Bf.109. The Harrier and Growler just needed some basic modeling skills. Dry fitting, figuring out why it was not fitting in parts, then some filling and sanding. I have the F-14D in my stash with the resin cockpit and exhausts. The Mig 29 and EA-18G basically out of box and just added resin seats. I am going bigger. I have a 1/24 Trumpeter Hurricane on my way to me. Got it cheap from China.

You are probably going to have to display the F-14 with wings swept back. As it will he HUGE.

Oh.. and watch out for the Tamiya F-14 in 1/32. It is old and raised details.

I find the Trumpeter kits are hit or miss. Overall, very good kits but, some do need after market parts as detail is either lacking or incorrect entirely. I suggest taking in as many reviews of the kit you want before making a decision. I hear good things about the the F-14, only minor complaints about it overall.
