You don’t need any filters with the enlarger he’s using.

I have printed my own color prints by either using individual gelatin color compensating filters I had to add to my enlarger I used exclusively for black-and-white printing. I have also used a dedicated color enlarger with a built in dichroic color filter head. The author of the You Tube channel talked about color viewing filters which he says he no long has which will help you find the correct color balance. Since he has the experience he does not need to use the viewing filters anymore. But he has to make corrections of color balance before the final print is made. Even when I have used a programmed color analyzer many times the first print was not completely correct. Color printing back in the days of film was not easy. I would not recommend it today. Digital color printing is so much better. Many of the supplies and a lot of the equipment used back in those days to make a color print from a color negative are very hard to find. But if you want to spend the money go for it.

@@lonniepaulson7031That enlarger he’s using has colour change LED’s so all the colour is controlled with them. Relay not sure what you are on about.

I don't know of anybody who would want to do color darkroom work now in this day, unless it's the development of color negatives and transparency or slides. You mentioned an enlarger with LED's, this must be some new technology. Is it an additive or subtractive process and how does it work? It is interesting to see that darkroom color printing has been made easier. Back in the day of film where I came from it was very involved. But if you were persistent you even had success in a home darkroom. They did have some gadgets for the hobbyist to help in getting the correct color balance, and they were quite good and inexpensive.

Interesting I have a Jobo and it does not have the funnel part on top like yours you have to purchase that separately. So confusing. I tried to go to the link in your description but I’m not finding your drum. What is the name of this drum?
