This car is more capable that it's driver...I'm working on that. 1:43 here doesn't suck, but adding up my best times from all 6 segments of my Track Addict data, I should be able to run a 1:41.5 here. Kristin was kind enough to tow me around for a lap to show me her line...and I did post my quickest lap after that, but the simple truth is, I'm just not getting it done...I should be a second or two quicker here (FWIW: this was the last track weekend on these tires...oh, excuses excuses! ;-D).

Nice driving, Joe! Take this with a grain of salt since your a few seconds faster than I can do, but I think you have a second or more between 2-3-4. Maybe for 2-3, try staying off the hump a bit and you might be able to carry more speed. Looks like you got a little loose at 3 that may have cost some time. Other than that, if you got that point by sooner on the straight, that would have helped too! CMS is so much fun! Happy motoring!

Brian: I'm all ears when it comes to learning/trying different lines, different techniques, etc... I'll be the first to admit I'm not sure what my fastest way through 2-3-4 is. I feel like my car hasn't had the front end grip I'd like (i.e. its understeering), but I'll be the first to admit that it's part alignment, part driver. I play with different lines and haven't figured that section out yet (or 6, or 10-11, etc...). I learn so much from riding with others, listening to (and sometimes debating) driving critiques w/ others. Bottom line is this: I love dialoguing with others about the best line, technique, etc.. and sharing stats. It's a great way for all of us to become better at the hobby we love! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
