You should have a string with white lights and one with red when its under attack then the white goes out. I will startvi a few weeks and will definitieve do this the lights. Good job you pull off
Always wanted to do this model...seriously thinking about making the investment. Your weathering is spot on and details are excellent. I figure you can build a section, take a break and build another model (I mostly do WW2 planes) or do RL stuff and when ready, get back to the sub's next section and so on...taking a few years to finish it. So...what would you consider to be the best reference guide? If I do get the kit it will be my first ship/sub/surface vessel of any kind.
Thank you very much. This is my very first Sub model of this scale and am very happy. Each compartment is like a kit onto itself. My references are limited, but consists of a few books, Internet and the movie DAS BOOT. In my next video I will show what items I am using. I also have PE sets coming from RC Subs and many other aftermarket sets. Once I get it all in I will do a special video on items used. I to love WW2 aircraft.
I think we have seen enough of the West’s view on freedom! In war there is no good or bad. Just folks trying to survive… With saying that, I would build an American sub and Russian subs whatever. Also these kits are mostly made in China… We can talk about the U.S. sending its manufacturing over there if you wish?
U.S. was supplying Germany during the war.. Prescott Bush, FORD, Operation Paper Clip etc.. You can’t bomb your way to Freedom.. in reality America lost the war! Also not all Germans were Nazis.
