Wow... I'm glad to find this video. It's easy to understand for me as dummies. 😁❤️👍👍

I have just found you channel and I find the power supply build very handy as I have also bought this kit. I think I will use 2 multi turn pots though. Mind you I do have to get it to work first. Maybe I should get 2 kits. Regards

2 kits i always a good thing :) You can find it on sale at Banggood right now www.banggood.com/0-30V-2mA-3A-Adjustable-DC-Regulated-Power-Supply-DIY-Kit-p-958308.html?p=AR22132858920201510H

There is the simplified description I did in the video at 5:46 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wpvxlcn7kVk.html

I wonder if one could somehow replace the pots in the circuit with mosfets and use shaft encoders and logic ...

I'm not the one to give the right answer to the question. But I see a problem if you are going to control a mosfet from a microcontroller, it will be using PWM for the analog signal.

some one have such issue with 1v it can't push than 0.7 amps ?
@newvaper3794
@newvaper3794 3 года назад
can this also be done with the amperes? like a fine adjustment for amperes? thanks for the video Krisitian.
@KristianLaholm
@KristianLaholm 3 года назад
I haven't tried doing the same on the amp setting but it should be possible, the pot setting the current is also a voltage divider if I remember correctly. I haven't tinkered with the circuit for some time but still use it to power test projects :)

Thanks for the explanation on the dual potentiometer. Can you send me or direct me to the get the schematic of the power supply. Thanks again

On Banggood's product page below the video there is a "English Manual", on the last page you'll find the schematic. Link: www.banggood.com/0-30V-2mA-3A-Adjustable-DC-Regulated-Power-Supply-DIY-Kit-p-958308.html?p=AR22132858920201510H

Hi, My output voltage is only 26v, any reasons, I should be getting 32volts correct
@KristianLaholm
@KristianLaholm 3 года назад
Check the voltage after the rectifier (across C1). And there is a possibility that if you have run on a to high voltage that the op-amps are burned.

Come to think of it I prefer your 2 pots. I bet every time you want to use the thing the multi turns are at the wring end. I suppose you could have 2 pots AND a multi turn. I'm joking - I think. Very useful video's - thank you.

The PSU with the most pots in the end is the winner :) Good luck with your build :)

why not go with a 10 turn pot,simples!!!
