I'm from the UK, and ended up with a ring very similar to this, it was lab grown, but VVS1, G Clarity, 1.51ct, Ideal cut (IGI). Can't wait to surprise my partner with it this summer!

Her jewellery is more high end so that’s a different audience, you could go to a local jeweller that would fit more into your budget and still do great work. Just don’t go to Kay’s or places like that because they’re super overpriced. James Allen has nice options for every budget as well.

@@reeseprince8 the colour of the gold ring shows through the diamond, giving the diamond a yellow hue. If you're looking for a clear diamond, putting it on a yellow gold ring kinda defeats the clear look. Its still beautiful, but it wont look as clear as if it's mounted on a white gold or platinum ring. Or you can go with a two tone ring, where the band is yellow gold and the prong is white/platinum
