We will talk about the final version going into pre-production and a few extra features you will get for free! PRE-order while you still can: jazzincdiorama...
This looks an absolute work of art - such amazing detail. I’ve no doubt that this will be the absolute jewell in Jazz Inc’s crown, and will be regarded as their very finest release amongst a glittering array of work. The ‘89 Batmobile is probably the most iconic movie vehicle ever, and this release will certainly do it justice and be the ultimate 1/6 version. I cannot wait to get this. A collector’s dream…..
This is looking amazing Joost, I have only recently discovered your products & I have watched many of your RU-vid videos & your interviews with other channels, you really are a perfectionist which is a breath of fresh air !!! I have pre ordered the 1989 Batmobile last weekend & so looking forward to the batch 2 release. Keep up the amazing work & the updates on how everything is progressing with the 89 Batmobile. Also if you could implement the motorised canopy I really think that would just be the icing on a very big cake & really show that Jazz inc is one step beyond other manufacturers!!!
Thanks! We have looked into that, but that will probably be nearly impossible, because from all the experts, we talk to, that is already incredibly hard to do on one single vehicle, let alone make it work and be accurate on hundreds of vehicles. The tolerances are going to be a problem. Even with the highest tolerance material of .3%, on a vehicle of 110 cm length, that would mean 3 to 4 mm of tolerance and variation.
Hey Joost thanks so much for your reply, I was just hoping really like many others I would imagine but I can totally understand the difficulties in implementing this feature, especially for so many of these beautiful Batmobiles you are going to be building. I think the lighting, movie sound fx & the smoke are the most important things to add, especially for a real showpiece like this is going to be !!! Keep up the incredible work & attention to detail, completely mind blowing !!!
I have the 1st Hot Toys 89 it will be great to see them side by side. How you put alot of movie accuracy in it than Hot Toys. And why they cost like yours does for accuracy. Did you take another vacation?? This time off is making you put extras on this like its Christmas. It's tissue time again, up late thinking of all the details on this work of art. The 1966 and now this. Tears are flowing hell with the tissues i'm getting a towel.

where it will be the power connector, and the opening for the fluid for the smoke? Hopefully it's on top the fluid, so folks don't need to turn this around or something
Looks incredible! Really happy to hear about all the extras. Can’t wait to see the prototype. Someone had mentioned the tires looked smaller? I can’t imagine Joost would overlook something like that, but I have to admit the gap between the tire and the wheel well does look odd.
Well I was talking to my mate about buying this beast ,he said I can't ,I don't have the space ,so I said "I will make the space!" Pre-order trigger pulled!!
Love love love this!! About half way paid off on mine and look to have it paid off before the expected ship date! This is going to be a center piece of my collection!
Can you confirm that this will be the 89 canopy meaning that there will be no windshield wipers because the 92 batmobile canopy has windshield wipers . I personally think it looks silly with windshield wipers so if you can confirm that let me know at your convenience thank you .
If you plan on Adding the knee breakers, there should be an additional slot below the bat disk launcher...... Only seem to show up on the stunt car....... Should be mesh in the vent in front of the front wheel wells also......... Actual paint was. Purple green flip-flop......looking good 👍
Fantastic wish I could grab one but I need a payment option other than all up front...just don't have it...ugh...the way it used to be done with a deposit and the rest at delivery worked much better for me 😔
Totally on board with the diecast parts! Hopefully this will become another grail in my collection. Also, the non-supporters will eat their words about this highly anticipated true scale collectible. Jazzinc please make this a flagship model for your true supporters! We have the faith!
yep the tyres are mickey thompson sportsman pro's would love to see the markings on the tyres just like on the 1:1 the gauges are auto meter pro comp's. on youtube (Jeff Dunham and The Batmobile From Batman Returns) is a good reference video taken of the screen used car.
I can't see the model well enough to tell, but is the "fin ridge" there, running over the rear wheels? I don't know if they're still on the original car after its last refurbishment, but there _was_ a fine ridge about 4 inches in that was ultimately used as a cutting guide for the thinner Six Flags cars, and I haven't seen it on any replica afaik. And are you committed to doing the current paint job instead of the original? You mentioned a matte black/pearl finish.
Near the end of the video he says it will be a black satin pearl finish. They were able to get a list of all the paints that were actually used on the hero car, which I believe Joost mentioned on the FB page.
@@marcopolo9589 him saying that is why I asked, since the car wasn't black, pearl, or satin. It's all different shades of metallic blue, green, yellow, and purple, with a satin smoke clear coat that was buffed to semi-gloss over the curves.

I see it now from looking at pictures of the original…I always thought it was black cause I haven’t seen the movie in a long time..this is an amazing piece..I’m excited to get this and thank u joost and ur team for making this..it is truly a work of art what you guys do 👍
