In this video I will show you the complete process of servicing the Mass air flow sensor from this Volkswagen Passat B6 1.6 TDI . It can be done with bassic tools like a voltmeter and a scan tool with live data available and some info from this video .

very good tutorial. Can you help with MAF of SKODA RAPID 2013 1,6 TDI 77kw? I ve bought a second MAF but always the same problem, blinking light on dashboard.

Hi, my passat 2011 maf sensor only reads 10,000 ohm between pins 1 and 3 and no continuity between other pins does this mean the sensor is bad? Cheers

Hi I'm hoping you can help with an issue I have, getting a P0103 error, I've disconnected the MAF and tested using a multimeter as per the video and the middle pin doesn't seem to be receiving 12v, showing between 0.1 and 0.5 volts, 3rd pin showing 4.9-4-95 so no issue there, could this indicate an issue with the wiring itself rather than the MAF sensor?

My vw passat is chugging when i accelerating it only happens when the car temperature reaches 90. But engine is cold no problems.but when car is hot you can't drive it it chugging and cutting out when you accelerating. Have you any answers to my problem. Thanks

Hello from India, I drive a VW Polo 1.2 TDI driven for 150000kms till date from December 2011, 1. Firstly, my car doesn't show the thrust in the pickup as it used to show earlier like it threw us back in the seats while picking up , but now it has turned sluggish inspite of maintaining it very nicely. 2. Secondly, the mileage per litre has gone down inspite of driving with light foot and on low rpms. Should I also clean my MAF sensor? Will it help ?

Yes it can help , so try to inspect the intake pipes for any residual oil and clean it

On my Golf 6 1.6TDI Cayc i have the error n. P0101, i changed the maf senzor, nothing...check engine on the board but the car function correctly, it made also the regeneration...all...just check engine
