I honestly think Glass joe doesn’t get the respect he needs He has a score of 99-1 This man has only won once and has lost 99 times but still likes to box That is a man who just plays the sport with confidence even if he’s bad
Think about this Who deserves more respect A man who can knock someone out with a single punch? Or someone who keeps getting up to fight after always being knocked down?
I think Glass Joe is actually a subversion of the French stereotype of always surrendering. The guy has endured 100 losses and he keeps getting up. That's determination with capital letters.
I remember I got knocked down by him once. I thought I had to move the wii remote to the side to dodge, but he still did not do a TKO on me. There was also a time he made a sound, I did not realize that meant that he was going to punch, but he still did not do a TKO on me. I beat him with the three star punch.
He only goes on about wanting to retire in the NES game. In this game, he's as determined to keep fighting until he manages another win as Gabby Jay was in Super Punch Out.
Useless fact: Glass Joe has two introductions. One (which is mostly common) is where he trips midway his quote. The other is when he completes his quote.
His one win was against Nick bruiser the strongest character in the super nes game super punch out it was apparently an accident Also you can easily beat Nick in a very rhythmic pattern in super punch out
Glass Joe deserves some respect, not only does he keep boxing even though he keeps getting destroyed, but he's also one of the least rude/demented characters.
Y’know, Glass Joe actually looks pretty healthy. He may be scrawny, but he seems genuinely pretty fit. If he had quit boxing, and got an office job or something, he would definitely be one of the healthiest workers. But of course, he persists in boxing, despite his record, and that’s pretty admirable.
