Beautiful model! And yes, shame about the planes, but at least it gives the carrier more attention. I believe this ship was also shown in the movie Hunt for Red October.

One of my favorite kits from Childhood. I believe the scanfar phased array radar was white until it was removed but not sure. I loved the vigilantes being in this kit.
