Just a very minor bit of critical feedback, Lee. Very thorough overall. I know you work super hard on these & they are meant to last players a long time as a reference, ZOS-willing. For the next one of these in the future, when you show the potion options, maybe show only the crafted Tri-pots, or both the crafted & the crown ones, so people who are new don't get the idea that they should be using crown items by default. I know that potion naming is poor (crafted tri-pots are still called "potions of health") & veterans have hundreds or even thousands or free daily log-in crown store tri-pots lying around. But new players could get confused. I certainly did as a new player. Thanks for all your effort.

Not sure why the Olorime pop up happens when I'm talking about a different set...
id love to see your old no block build make a comeback since blood mist has changed giving more options for A SHIT TON of life steal especially if a horde is around ya AND the esoteric enviroment greeves might just be perfect for a no block build even with the moderate nerf they seem to have gotten :D
I don’t use the void bash set as I have not cleared solo arenas so I replaced it with Swarm Mother. The one piece gives stamina and magicka. The two piece provides a conditional pull ability that works well with Runic Sunder. I can taunt casters/archers from range and when they attack me, Swarm Mother set will pull them in with a 1 second cooldown.
just keep in mind: - Enemies/bosses that deals Oblivion damage will be the "Kryptonite" for arcanists who are present in the latest trials including SE. so you would still rather having a DK or Necros to main tank those. - Arcanist healing abilities are underwhelming comparing to the other classes mainly because they have stronger shields. - Impervious Runeward heals for 4.1K per crux, so having 3 cruxes would heal the same as an instant coagulating blood from DKs, some serious situations would sometimes requires you to spam heals. - Runeguard heals for 30% under a condition, so its not a heal on command. and another thing to note as well, Blocking does not function even if you are bracing while shield damage is on the incoming damage will be absorbed by the shields as if you were not bracing, and once its depleted, the remaining damage will then be blocked, so you need to put this in mind, a single heavy attack from vet trials can easily one shot arcanists shield ulti skill. Arcanist are nice tankers but totally different playstyle, and youll need to push yourself more in terms of skills and adaptability to make it work.
@@p6id Both are top pick as you always find both together in every hardest difficulty in any content, they get changed between MT and OT. on certain bosses like bahsie or bosses that main mechanics is doing nasty DOTs on you, necros are quite better in these situations + best class in ulti gen to cast their ulties way more frequent than DKs. meanwhile DKs have superb stamina sustain without the need to focus on gaining some recovery stats for that thanks to combustion, helping hand, and battle roar passives. DKs got the best survivability ulti in the game as well + one of the best self heals also and a unique 12% extra healing taken. Generally best MT is DK, and best OT is Necros, unless some certian situations making them switch roles. But in the end, that does not mean others classes cannot put up a nice performance, all classes can no all the content in the game still.

So for dungeon like end game hm dungeon stuff sense console cant switch builds as fast as pc can what would you say Would be best for both the adds and then Bosses? Or is it just Choosing one and working with that?

I'm a bit confused over the written guide on the site. Your trial boss skill list doesn't have an assault skill (other than warhorn). Does that mean we should be swapping out Powerful Assault for something else during trial boss fights?
Yes that's correct. If you are doing a trial as an Arcanist then you're going to be the Main Tank so you would not use PA, there's also a Trial Gear part on the written guide 👍🏻
Great video! I’m actually looking to turn my Dunmer Arcanist into a tank. Is there any adjustments I should make for the build to fit better with a Dunmer, or should I be fine?
With an Arcanist especially the race is less important than other Tank Classes thanks to their additional Resistances and Recoveries from Skills and Passives
@@TheTankClub For the attributes should I put a bit more into health since I’m not using a Nord? Also could I swap Powerful Assault with Crimson Oath Rive? I don’t have the Ice Staff for PA and Rive seems to have a better set. I’m currently trying to get Void Bash 1H and Shield.
Can you do an update to this build now that scribing is in the game? I just recently came back to the game and leveled this class up, they are a lot of fun but I would love your help optimizing it for group content.

If anyone has a problem with attribute splitting then they are complaining for nothing, it's completely up to you how you set them up. Once I reach my limit on Max Health I'm moving them points somewhere else more beneficial rather than having 50k Max Health!
It's really just up to preference. Giving yourself more health means you generally won't have to spam as many abilities for survival. Giving yourself more other stats allows you to spam more abilities and increases the strength of a lot of abilities. It's generally easier and less chaotic though as a tank when you have really high Max health and super beefy damage Shields because you can generally focus more on the rest of what's going on then your own Survival.
