I made one of these in my apt to save on my utility bill. It actually makes my room too cold at night. Great hack. My power bill was $55 cheaper this month. Lol
Did it help I have no windows downstairs in my townhouse landlord won’t fix shit smh … I’m planning on moving into a house with everything brand new … can’t wait
They're quite a bit bigger than I expected. ru-vid.comUgkxb-KpJPmXtqM2xdYLP72ICq6QCcD0V8e7 If you ever had an air king round tilting fan, these are basically the same thing but in a window shroud. There's quite a few reviews about them being out of balance. I can say that mine pretty close to balanced. I purchased two of them for cooling my shop during my crypto operation. One intake, one exhaust. Combined they're moving over 7K CFM which is plenty for my 20x30 shop. If it helps you comprehend just how much air they move, both of them on intake and it's incredibly hard to close the door on my shop. The prescribed dimensions are accurate, they barely fit in my small windows.
First you put the fan into the window.Make sure there is a slot underneath the window. Then tape it up to prevent it from falling off the window.Close the window.Plug it in.Turn it on.You are done!!
This works only if you have a screen. You can sit the fan in the window, and hang damp sheets from above for extra cool. It will get cool VERY fast to the point where it might get too cold depending on how hot it is out side
I need to try this because my window in my room doesn’t work and my room is the hottest room in the house so I always have a fan and it barely pushes the air off, so I’m gonna put some bottles in front of my fan and see how this works
Am going to try am in Texas i have brand new ac installed in March but rooms on the western side of the house hot as hell especially summer afternoon for a few hours.
I feel like this wouldn't make a big impact where I am, with temps in the nineties and humidity in the eighties. Those bottles would be liquid within 5-10 minutes! :D
It works for the people who can’t afford to spend an arm n a leg on an ac unit and are in need of something ASAP.. I just did this and it isn’t the absolute best, but it does the job as long as you aren’t a lazy sack of Sh** and don’t mind adding ice cold items every several minutes 🤷♂️. Thank you for the simple video!
@@brandonemory3257 And actually does work for some of us they have to wait for him warranty companies to come out which have a 3 to 4 day waiting period this definitely does a trick only thing you have to freeze bottles of water sorry it is a problem for some people
