SOLO HERALD to LEGEND. (correct me if my thinking attitude is wrong) 1. always bring TP and back up fast. while Enemy team is way faster on back ups. Don't run from Bottom to TOP to help. 2. bring your own DUST to secure a kill. don't blame supports for not bringing dust. YOU CAN BUY DUST. 3. don't just watch or run around the map, stack camps/ancients, pull creep wave, buy SOD then gank. 4. use SOD if you go to Rosh. don't run to Rosh without SOD unless enemy team are dead or enemy cores are dead. 5. If you can't help join team fights, then at least push the lane and push the tower instead of being stuck in the Jungle while your team is getting killed. You get more EXP and GOLD in CREEP LANES. 6. If your pushing alone while not joining the clash AND 1 or 2 enemy heroes suddenly got missing in the map for 2 seconds then get BACK IMMEDIATELY unless you're very confident that you can take/kill them in short amount of time or escape. But is it worth the risk? You're not a PRO yet so GET BACK IMMEDIATELY! =)) 7. Know if your team can win LATE GAME. most of the time, your team is Winning EARLY/MID game but you always LOSE LATE GAME because no one is farming on lanes. no one is spitting the map. You are stuck in the Jungle forever. Dota is not all about ganks, killing, and jungling. There are only 100 spots in the top 100. If I got into the top 100, someone else would have to fall out of it. Every game I play I get a little better but so does the top 100 players. If I take one of the spot in the top 100, does that mean the former player in that spot has gotten worse at the game? No. Herald players in 2022 are better than the herald players from 2020. If you want to get out of any rank, you have to think outside of the box and do something that the others are not doing. RIght?

For herald, the biggest tip is to stop farming and end the game. You don’t need all the items you want to get before the game can end. So many games last at least 50 min that could end at min 20-30. But 1 or all cores never want to push when they are way ahead and then the other team has time to get a few of their items and then it’s way harder to win at that time without them , or what usually happens, you end up losing the game since usually this means your enemy has at least one hero that has a slow start but very strong lane game (am for example) I guess this also is related to what you said, “take responsibility”. As these players always think they think what they did was good and will refuse to learn. Basically they play ranked when the way they play is for un ranked.

Hello speed can you or anyone else advise who should roam the map then? I watch a lot of videos now but I feel like you always play carry or mid lane and your team provides you that space with killing the others. But who then should go around the map and look for kills? Seems so difficult to me. Like in herald / guardian everyone just sits at their half of the map and farms. When I play support it's really boring. When I play carry yea I can farm but I feel like it shouldn't be like that to let them farm freely also. Especially when they have like hard late game carry

How about this,if you qeue Carry(Offlane/Safelane) role and the other in your team has a support role and they pick a carry type and then try to hit creeps instead of hitting the enemy,messing your CS in the early game,what would you do ?cause it's usually the case in SEA,idk why but people just do it anyway,it happens to me everytime I play

I think heralds in NA and heralds in SEA are way different. In sea, they are a little knowledgeable and better skill wise. You could really tell that most players in SEA heralds are stuck there just cause of their attitude. By the way, came back from dota after 4 years and also got stucked in herald for quite some time hahahaha

dota version 6 was the best... I have two accounts one legend just shy of ancient and guardian near crusader i honestly dont find any difference between the two when I que for rank anymore recently for some reason they both play at the same level, in fact I find the crusaders to play and get way more kills and points. 12v12 is the best dota for fun...

Not gonna lie but I'm stuck on a herald and it's been 5 months every time whenever we are going to win there is 1 mf in our team who just mess everything up It's so frustrating.... I mean it's just a normal reaction i usually play support and i give it all my resources,mana,items just to help the core but when these kinds of things happen it just makes me angry... And whenever i double my rank I lose....

Really? Heralds/Guardians: Learn when to hold/use spells. Identify aggression vs overextension. Check The minimap regularly. Any of those would be more useful.

I have a legend, archon and guardian-crusader ac. Legends are my my skill l vel so idk what to say, archon players need to know which hero carries the game and be patient with that hero(in other words, don't say shit like "farm too slow"), crusaders are good mechanically and I'll say I'm not confident against a mid spammer of crusader bracket as a pos1 player. However, they have lesser patience than archons and hence their downfall. Archons and crusaders are mostly the same, just that crusaders are the ones who are good mechanically but not know how to play the map. Guardians are not that good. Sadly that's all I can say
