Interesting video, and even more interesting comments. How about that hangar though? It's immaculate! You could eat off of that floor. Other than the impeccable housekeeping of the hangar, the main thing that struck me is this tiny copter having an electric starter. I am thinking about the extra weight for the starter motor, engagement mechanism, and battery. I viewed another video recently about a small, single-seat helicopter powered by an approximately 50 horsepower piston engine, and that had a pull-start. At the time of originally viewing that video, I thought it a little dicey to fly a helicopter with a pull-start engine (it put my mindset at "lawnmower"). Now that idea makes more sense to me. My thought is this little coaxial helicopter could shed at least 25 pounds if it likewise adopted a pull-start piston engine.
FINALLY, an honest video, without trying to conceal the noise with stupid music - THANKS. What's the rotor diameter on that thing? What's the brand and make of the helicopter?
Not a bad little bug, I like it. But the hull gives extra weight and fuel consumption. That's why it can take a smaller payload. Although flying to a friend's house on a nearby farm for a cup of coffee is not a bad option. However, with all due respect, I liked the smaller, lighter Micron Extra helicopter from Russia better ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BC9Z-DQNN_g.html
Excellent Excellent Excellent!!! You just destroyed ALL of the BS electric flying cars. HA HA HA I love it. I've been saying for years, "just buy a damn proven helicopter and the hell with electric hover car BS." You did it! I will now refer all the electric flying car videos to this video. Put a more effective muffler on it and let's go!!! New Subscriber
@@waltonsimons9082 Hoy mate, oh I know the counter rotating main rotors are an old design but this small personal design is new to me! I love it. Thank you tho.
If you consider how much effort goes into building this kind of dangerous contraption, then you have to wonder what this guy could have achieved if had placed his efforts somewhere else.
@@azarpiano I’m not criticizing this man’s efforts to achieving something. Obviously he has great technical skills. But he built a machine which has no purpose; it’s not a functioning helicopter. Just “making an effort” by itself, means nothing. It the results that count.
