I drink nettle tea every single morning. My hubby makes it for me and throws in a chunk of ginger root, turmeric, star anise and a cinnamon stick. I also am fermenting garlic in honey and ginger in honey. Gonna do lemons next. I love all you share and I feel I am now prepared to face winter with a healthy medicine chest. Thanks! My 6 yr old twins have been struggling with a bad sinus infections. Their pediatrician gave them 250mg of Amoxicillin 3x a day. I had a sinus infection this year. I used a spray of colloidal silver and some saline solution in a nebulizer and it seemed to work for me. I have the infection for about 3 days before I finally thought to try the colloidal silver, but on day 2 after using it I woke up feeling so much better. Now my adult daughter has what I had and she hasn't tried the colloidal silver and its been going on from last weekend into her 2nd weekend now and she is still congested taking over the counter decongestants etc. I'm going to have her watch this video. We live in the same house so I'm assuming she has the same thing I had because it spread from one person to the next and got all 4 of us now.
Are these remedies effective for sinus infections that aren't allergy related? You mention allergies a lot in this video. I don't have allergies, but I do get sinus infections.

Sinus Problems and what causes them. I have learned through experience that the cause is the spine. And I discovered this when I was a young adult. I was constantly sneezing and after having a round of sneezing (like 4 or 5 times in a row) my nose would run like Niagra Falls and so would my eyes. I finally found a qualified Chiropractor and the day he popped my neck I QUIT sneezing. It is interesting how the human body functions and the effect the nervous system has on the body.

Have a chronic cough for years ! I have been to my reg dr. And ears and throat dr. And my lung dr. I had a spit test that was ok. I when I went to ears ad nose dr he went down my throat with tube . That was ok also . They say I have acid reflux but I don’t burn. Some times after I eat I cough a I can get sticky gross spit . I have asthma and sleep with a breathing machine.

I used to have sinus and tooth pain from sinus congestion. I no longer have that pain, instead I have CONSTANT, TOTALLY ANNOYING post nasal drip. How do I control the post nasal drip? It seems like every drop of liquid I swallow turns directly into post nasal drip. I tried irrigating my sinuses with a netty pot, but I have a deviated septum, and doing that just made it worse because it didn't go in nostril then out the other like it's supposed to. I had to let it drain out the same nostril it went up. I felt like it just drove the allergens deeper into my nasal cavities.

I think I'm getting a sinus infection. First one in a year and a half. What about hylands homeopathic mucus n cold OTC?
