I feel you. I went around playing shows basically mimicking him for a year or so when i was younger. kinda glad i didnt record any of it. Some people loved it. My dad told me not to quit my day job.
'Frank's Wild Years' still makes me laugh, even though I first heard it over 40 years ago. My current favourite of his, is the wonderfully sinister 'What's He Building', which was played on BBC 6 Music in the daytime last week, and was enjoyed very much by my younger brother.
