You are suppose to wait 3 to 4 months. The earring will never be in the proper place because her ears will change in size. I have a daughter who is 6 months and still haven't pieced her ears because what does a baby need earrings for? And yes it's my families tradition as well. Mine were done as a 3 month baby but some traditions are better left in the past.... Js
I got mine pierced when I was nine years old. My mom asked me if I wanted them and I said yes. I think it’s better to give the child the choice. When my sister was a baby my mom took her to get them pierced at around 1 year and she was constantly pulling them off.
Familias, mamás, ahorrarles sufrimiento a vuestro bebé, pedir que le pongan pomada para anestesia, no permitáis más que les hagan los agujeritos de las orejitas a lo bruto, no os da pena cuando bebés tan pequeñitos lloran con esa pena ? No digo que lo hagáis o que no, solo os explico que hay una pomadita que es anestesia local, un poquito y basta, si cada una de las mamás y cada uno de los papás que fuesen a hacer los agujeritos para los pendientes pidiesen que les pusieran anestesia, la tendrían en todo tipo de estos establecimientos, reclamar! son vuestros hijos los que están sufriendo.

If it isn't your kid, why the hell does it matter to you? Personally, I would never do this until my kid was old enough to ask for it. But its not your kid, so stay out of it.
What did she do give birth, leave the hospital and run to the mall to have her baby’s ears pierced? Yes, this baby is so sensitive to pain and infection, and stress like this makes it worse.
Cuando nosotros salimos del hospital mi hijita ya llevaba sus agujeritos hechos, se los hicieron profesionales, pensé que es cuando menos duele y las enfermeras le pusieron un poquito de anestesia, o eso me explicaron cuando pregunté antes de que se los hiciesen
Y lo que más pena me da, es que sean los propios padres los que se rían, mientras sus bebés sufren, he visto algunos que parece que para ellos sea una fiesta

In my personal opinion piercing a babies ears is cruel. It's just thinking what if you put them through that for nothing what if they don't want them when older. I think it is when waiting a great opportunity to allow them to choose not only to do them but what color and responsibility of having earrings. Also that way they can tell you if it starts showing symptoms of infection. That type of thing. You do realize new borns are very very susceptible to infection right? Why would you risk your child going through that are you that selfish and dumb you'd rather have a damn earring in their ear then wait!

Right Bruh? 😂 My daughter got them done at 5 years old and cried the whole time and dreaded having to switch her earrings and cleaned.... As an infant, it would have been absolutely better... &. Now she got a second set 😉
This is insane and cruel why don't they put an age restriction on this,that is so cruel to do it on any child but to do it on a baby is ridiculous,shame on any parent that does this.
