I wish eBay would do what Posh and Mercari do and that’s let sellers know during the listing and offer consideration stage what the end profit price will be. It shouldn’t be that difficult to provide that even if with promoted listings turned on. That would really provide every seller with additional insight when they are looking at the pure profit number when making a decision.
I'll take a fast nickel over a slow dime anyday! Free up that profit to buy more inventory. I get more big hits when I have more listings. I can't list what I don't have!
You can counter an offer. They can decline. You can go back and CONTACT that buyer a say you are now willing to take the $125. Its not a dead deal...CONTACT them.
I was thinking of doing the same thing. I don't have that many clothing items listed but the ones i do have have been their over a year. plus i Have a lot of my own clothes I need to list. My basement is a resellers dream. I just do have the get up and go to do it right now.
I think that might have been my 10 boxes and it was almost 700 pieces.😂 I will certainly be running a turn and burn model on a lot of that since it's stuff that isn't the best. I was running a full time eBay business, but ended up single again so I went back to my previous career which requires extensive travel. Being able to use you guys as FBA means I don't need the same profit margins since I'll barely have any time invested.
That wasn’t yours actually, yours are already in process but yes. Thank you!!! Almost 700 units we get to work on for the next 2-3 weeks lol. Appreciate Paul
Haha, I get offers at less than half. And I don’t even have the “or best offer” on any of my listings. People just randomly message me on eBay these lowball offers all the time! I wish all these people would just go away…..
Agree, accept offers BUT decent offers not some of these ridiculous offers , some even lower than your COGs price. Now, if you are a hoarder and have two storage units FULL of stuff and your apartment is full of unlisted stuff, then YES take all the offers to get them out of your hands. Let mommy remain off camera that is personal and respect her privacy.
Another thought is that the offering buyer could have very well sent an offer to the other products, testing how low each seller would go and took the best one
